[Another] Lost Record List...
RufusA
22-04-2007
Wonder if this is a "buggette" in the Tommy.

Had a number of programmes in my Record List for yesterday (Sat 21st) - a handful of kids stuff in the morning and Doctor Who, a film etc. in the evening and night.

Was watching one of the the recorded items yesterday morning (Wonder Pets - TMF) - possibly as chase play (though can't rememebr) - and then put the box on to standby.

That evening went to watch Doctor Who to discover it hadn't recorded, in fact nothing had recorded since watching Wonder Pets, and the record list was now empty!

Added back a couple of the evening programmes which recorded fine.

So any thoughts on what would cause the record list to completely clear during the day?

TIA - Rufus.

I wonder if there was a momentary loss of signal, that caused a loss of Service Information and thus no picture or sound.

I say this because last Thursday evening I switched on my Thomson, to be greeted with a blank screen: switching from BBC1 to another station brought about normal operation.

When I checked the engineering logs a day later, I noticed that the log for that particular day, was extended from the usual 14 pages, to 18 pages. The extra pages were concerned with something about "unable to extract SI for BBC1 Scotland". This occurred sometime between 2pm and 3pm.
