Wasn't an amazing guitarist but boy did he make great music.

I wonder what he'd of been doing now, if he was still around

His death was a loss to the music world

For anyone who cares

Looks into the 'murder conspiracy'. Focuses on the fact that there were no legible finger prints on the gun, he was planning to divorce Courtney, someone was using his credit card, claims that the 'suicide note' was infact a retirement letter, as 90% of the letter is about him not enjoying playing and creating music anymore, not wanting to kill himself. It is only in the last four lines (which are believed to have been written in a different pen) that he mentions wanting to die. Also the police work was shoddy, as they instantly assumed it was suicide.

He was without a doubt, suicidal (the Rome overdose attempt was only a month before he actually died). But I feel that the Rome suicide attempt, being a drugs overdose, was more of a cry for attention than a serious suicide attempt. When Kurt Cobain awoke from his coma, he was described as "looking proud with himself and asking for a strawberry milkshake". (Kurt Cobain also left a suicide note then, but Courtney kept it and since no one has seen it. It's contents remains unknown)

Just because Kurt was suicidal, doesn't mean that he killed himself. The police took far too much for granted.

Unfortunately, I doubt that he would have been around for much longer anyway

There is no doubt that this guy was a genius but he was not really groomed for fame and in the end he wanted to die and he got his wish.

he was a great musician, but i think song titles like "I hate myself and want to die" indicate a lot.

His death is a sad loss for his family and punk music.

It was murder , there seems to be very little doubt about that , and if you think about it the person behind it is pretty obvious.

It seems that the Rome overdose was actually an attempt on Kurt's life , he didn't use Rophynol but Rophynol is the date-rape drug and its likely that he was drugged to prepare him to be murdered. Things didn't go to plan however , and it seems likely that Kurt then had to be silenced at a later date because he was going to regain his memory of what happened in Rome. Kurt Cobain was depressed , but that doesn't mean he was suicidal.

There are a lot of things wrong with the Seattle PD's investigation of the Cobain case , and a new investigation is needed to clear up what actually went on - whether you believe it was suicide or not , if only to clarify matters.

' I Hate Myself and I want to Die ' was the joke title for ' In Utero ' and people don't seem to realise thats all it was - a joke. Kurt wasn't suicidal , he didn't use that title because he feared people might get the wrong idea that he was suicidal !
