Has to be Chris C for me. That performance was amazing and based on that alone he so shouldn't have gone.

Definitely Chris. He really shined when singing a musical theatre song. I thought JohnDeep killed it and confirmed to me that he was the right one to go on the night.

Definitely Chris C. I thought he was the right person to go during the whole show, until that final performance which was his most impressive. Unfortunately by that time it was too late.

Chris C. Show one I didnt rate him, but in the in the final song he was not much short of amazing.

Chris C left his best performance too late but it was obvious Ben was going to be chosen over him after their performance of "Bridge Over Troubled Water".

Johndeep should have stayed in over the average (to put it flatteringly) Chris B.

I thought Chris C's exit was better than Johndeep's, but when Chris gave his main performance, I thought he moved very awkwardly as he sang: a real no-no if you're taking the lead role in a musical.

Chris C, it was almost like he had prepared himself for it, whereas Johndeep looked more shocked at the result.

Hell yeah, Chris C all the way. His little sort of gasp at the end was so moving!

Johndeep gurned a little too much for my liking. Chris C put his heart and soul into it IMO (not that Johndeep didn't.....) and you could really see that.

Chris was just a real shock - having been so mediocre through the show, to pull off a final performance like that was pretty jawdropping.

Johndeep annoyed me by singing over the "for we know we shall find" line. I'm picky like that!

Chris reeled me in with the strength of emotion that came flooding out, right on cue. It was a wonderful moment. A rating of 7/10 on the Kleenex scale.

Chris just about pips Antony to the post because Antony was out of tune at the beginning and forgot to sing at one point. His end note was amazing though!

edit: most entertaining exit has to be seamus lol. full on diva strop there!

Between Antony and Chris.C - I think Chris just pips it though, for the way he drops his head after the last note.

Out of the two in the topic title it was definately Chris C - I'd like to have seen a bit more of him retrospectively.

Antony tonight for me gave the best exit so far. His smiles etc was professional to the end.

Yes I really felt for Antony and he did give his best performance. However I could have done without his girlfriend screaming from the audience - it's the job of the judges/audience to decide who is the best and it annoys me when family and friends take it personally ...

Best exit now has to belong to Seamus.......I really liked that he fought back rather than ran off bubbling
