Yeah, really short!!
But there are hour long episodes or 40 minute ones which might have 2 days in one sort of thing. The fineral episode is an hour.
OMG why did GMTV say tonight was the last we see of him??? 
YAY...it's tonight! Will have to watch thw 10pm one thought coz im babysitting nad leave at 8 so will miss the 2nd half which i think Matt/Deano will be in

It can't be his last one can it? He had loads of facial hair when he was filming his last scene - the clips we saw on SCD anyway.

Just had a listen again - and he was talking about his own exit, not Kevin's. He said it was nice and he was really excited about it, "completely different" I think he said.
I was really surprised when he said that he was only 20 but wanted to be married! Also that he found it sexy when someone had a sense or humour and was talented -- like maybe a professional dancer who giggles a lot and laughs at his jokes?
He's so cute. I hope SCD helps him out, career-wise or whatever.

But, if you look at him filming his final scenes for EE on SCD, he had a stubble. Seemed pretty clean cut last night, didnt he? Also, i saw the picture of him chained to a police officer AGES ago, which would have meant it was filmed AGES ago, not when he was on SCD. Also, everyone was wearing different clothes on EE last night as to what they were wearing when Matt was doing his final scenes. And he had a long script to learn...
If they were his final scenes, then they were shit. Even Carly gets an exit tonight. And he should have an end-of-episode exit.

He was on "Loose Women" on 9 November and he said he was juggling both EE and SCD then. But he was taping a lot more recently than that, right? The week before the foxtrot (performed Saturday, 8 Dec) was really his last week? So doesn't that mean there's more Deano later, like later in Jan or in Feb?
If that was his exit last night then it even worse than Preeti's.
The scene with Chelsea would be utterly pointless if he did not make a brief return before leaving. What was the point of him saying that to her if there is no follow up?

Exactly. There has to be something to do with him and Chelsea, that was obviously the build up to it. They wouldnt have made him say that and just leave it. We're all expecting something now. I think Deano and Sean should join forces and get revenge on Chelsea

On Wikipedia, it says he done his final scenes on 12th December.
The funeral was filmed months ago, 8 weeks to be precise if you include the christmas break. It was only 3 Weeks ago that Matt said he was filming his final scenes for EastEnders.. so therefore that proves that the funeral scenes were NOT his last.
