The soap mags dont tell us anymore than we already know. I scanned them in the shops. I am not surprised Deano is going to behave like this. He often seems to be self destructive if he is upset. Joyriding getting paralytically drunk etc. And lets face it poor bloke must be in quite a state. Dad and brother dead and sister gone off. Only his Mum who abandoned him for 17 years around. Its what happens next thats interesting. Something must happen. Perhaps shirley tells him who is real dad was (and how he was concieved)and he goes in search or he realises he cant cope with walford and goes to join carly or he goes off to become a man and joins the army. Whatever they are probibly allowing his charater to come back a bit tougher if ever Deano comes back

I find I do miss having Deano and Carly around the square. I really feel the Beeb should have kept them another 6 months though from Matts point of view Deano's axing was probibly a really good thing career wise. i dont know what Kellie is up too. But for me as an EE viewer they went too early.

Many people didnt like them but to me they were both quite real characters rather than characatures (cant spell ). There are plenty of young blokes who are basically nice but do stupid things because they dont think or dont think things through, who cant cope with what life throws at them because they arent mature enough. Who are grown up but still really little boys.Just because you are good looking doesnt mean you get the girl. Deano just wants to be loved. as does Carly.To some extent I think its their realness that put people off them but made them interesting. EE missed a trick getting rid of them with Kev.

I agree with all you said. I feel both are leaving unfinished characters. Both exits seem premature to me. They could have really grown as characters after their Dad's demise.

I think Kellie's doing OK she did panto after she left EE and that pays loads.

I think they should never have let go - they had a lot of potential - at least they had storylines, unlike Mickey who has been their for years and has never had a proper storyline - and i want him to have one!

I personally think Thursday is his last episode. I have seen pictures of him and Shirley, Matt wearing a suit and Shirley in a pink top...wearing exactly the same when Flavia went with him on SCD to film his final scenes.
