TBH I haven't always been. My opinion of him has changed a few times.

In his first few episodes, I liked him. He seemed like a nice chirpy character and I couldn't see what people meant when they said he was a bad actor. I started to dislike him around the time that he spiked Stacey's drink because he became little more than a prat. Started liking him again a few months ago.

Yeh I didn't like him much when he spiked Stacey's drink - i was a fan of Bradley then. I think the storyline with Shirley and Kevin has made him come into his own

I liked Bradley then too, but I've gone right off him now.

With the Shirley/Kevin storyline, I appreciated the fact that for once it was the son (Deano) who loves the father unconditionally rather than the usual scenario of the daughter being the one who wants her dad around no matter what, with the son having issues with the dad.

Yeh, I think he just needs a hug from anyone who will give him one - whether it's his real dad or not.

I don't think Deano gets much love because most people (in the EastEnders world, not the viewer world) see him as a prat and don't understand that he has reasons for acting the way he does. That's one of the things I disliked about Bradley right from the start: when he met Stacey & Deano, they were both the sort of people who, for lack of a better word, might be described as "unsavoury." Yet Bradley made an effort to see the "real Stacey" but wrote Deano off as a prat. It has always seemed to me like Deano tries hard to be friends with Bradley, who just can't be bothered trying to understand Deano.

Yeh thats true! There's been loads of times in the Vic or in the cafe when Deano has tried to talk to Bradley, but he just assumes that it's not going to be worthwhile. People in soaps don't tend to realise other people's problems. I always felt that with Spencer - Chris Parker had the most fan mail ever on EE, but yet not one girl actually fancied him!! (He always asked people out)

You have to remember though that Bradley's first encounter with Deano resulted in Bradley being wrongly banged up for assaulting Stacey and spiking her drink- it's kind of understandable why Bradley might be a little hesitant to be the best of chums with him

True....but that was aaages ago - surely it's a soap rule that people forget things in three eps? :P

I can understand that, but I think it runs deeper than that. One instance that springs to mind was when Bradley was in the Vic, Deano simply said hello to him, and Bradley made the rudest looking "F*ck off" face complete with a roll of his eyes - Deano hadn't even done anything, just greeted him.

Was that the time Deano was drunk and making a complete show of Bradley with his new gf?

I would have wanted to strangle Deano lol.

I don't remember that- I do recall several occasions where Deano's humiliated Bradley in public though and if Bradley did make that kind of face then perhaps Deano had done something earlier in the episode to deserve it- I don't know as I don't recall that ever happening

Nah, it was way before that. I don't remember much, but I do remember all that happened was Bradley was in the Vic after buying something for Stacey, Deano came over and said something like "Hey Bradders" and then Bradley made the face.

He is fit!! I think that when he is good at crying, but I think that the way he acts when he is angry must in some way be written in the script - that is probably the way Deano is!

How long before? was it soon after him and Stacey started getting more friendly because I can imagine Bradley would have still been annoyed over the drink spiking incident- especially if it was one of the first times he'd seen Deano since then. Or perhaps Deano had made some remark about him and Stacey earlier- I don't know?

I think it was when Stacey and Bradley had been together for a while, perhaps a few months? Deano hadn't said anything recent about Stacey. That's why I remember this scene - I recall thinking how rude it would be to make that face just because someone comes over and gives you a friendly greeting.

I'm not sure to be honest- I don't remember it

He certainly seemed friendly enough to Deano the other week when they were in the caff together.

Yeah, they did, which has confused me on what Bradley really thinks of Deano. Friend, annoyance, or simply a neighbour?

I think they're friends- it's just perhaps Deano sometimes shows Bradley up.

Bradley obviously takes notice of what Deano thinks as he told Max that Deano thought Stacey had got a new man and it was like Bradley believed Deano

I wouldn't say any of the younger cast have friends - they just seem to talk to people when they are around
