Poor Deano will end up getting his heart broken with Stacey

I wouldn't have thought Deano would go for Stacey actually. He doesn't have much respect for her, always calling her a tart and telling Bradley that she's not worth the effort. I wonder what changes his mind

I thought this too. Apparently he becomes obsessed with her too. I thought she would be the last person on Deano's "too bed" list...

When Ruby left in January 2006 he seemed to begin to bond with her. In the episode prior to Bradley's arrival he was getting close to her. Remember she even apologised to him!

But then the drug incident happened.

He tells Bradley that she's not worth the effort for reasons not dissimilar to Max's, and last year he seemed at times hell bent on splitting Bracey. He has always fancied her, and deep down still does.

Both Deano and Stacey are struggling with the loss of their fathers. I feel its Deano that Stacey will open up to about her father. They could help each other alot. There is potential for a great friendship.

i hope they create a great friendship He needs someone to talk to to stop him lashing out all the time. its obvious Stacey will go back to Bradley. I dont want him to get his heart broken either!
I think it would be good if she got pregnant-so its either Bradley's, Max's orr Deano's lol

Yeh, they could both talk to each other about their pasts - would be great. It's great that we're seeing Deano though

I always thought Deano and Stacey would get together properly.

A relationship between the pair of them was hinted at heavily back in early 2006 but then fizzled out when Stacey took up with Bradley.

I actually thought Deano and Stacey would make a good couple at that time.

Do you think she goes back to Bradley??
Also, if this doesnt work out, there's a new muslim family joining, and the girl is 21 so they could get together?

I would expect they do have a heart to heart, that's why Stacey may think it's a good idea with the emotion and then regret it

Stacey and Bradley is better than Stax!! I would love to see Deano obsessed too...and heartbroken. I love his vunerability. I hope we see that side of him, like we did with Spencer...but then he needs a juicy storyline. Maybe getting physically abused by his mum's new boyfriend??

i love the sound of that, but wouldnt it be a bit odd if a 19 year old got abused? i mean like he's practically an adult lol

They could make really good friends as they have similar problems. Of course if they get friendly Bradley might get suspicious.

Maybe she will do that because she just didn't want to but in the moment she did?

They could also become friends because Stacey's lately been a little wary of Bradley. He's been listening in her phone convo and searching through her bag (when he was spotted).

I think she's going to break down after the affair ends properly.

Poor Deano. I wouldn't mind seening him with Stacey if they started as friends then became lovers but a one night stand then rejected ,the poor boy's not that emotionally strong at the moment. I f he is going to be obseessed with her I can almost see a descent into full blown mental health problems coming especially if Sean starts playing mind games. After reading the spoilers I feel myself saying dont do it. But he is my other son!!

What will Deano make of Stacey and Max when it comes out. I get the idea he is not as laid back about some things as he thinks he is and that might cross a boundry Deano cant handle. + would he worry about Stacey and Kev (heaven forbid)

Regulus , you mentioned the lose of DEano's father. Do you mean he is screwed up by his father not being his father or the lose of his brother. I got the idea he's coming to terms with Kev not being his Dad though that could be part of the reason he reacted so badly to the wedding date (not just the Jimbo effect) He deep down wanted to hurt Kev, same goes for moving out, he sub conciously wants to hurt his dad even if he doesnt realise it. That boy needs someone who is his best friend and confidant, who loves him warts and all who's strong enough to cope with his nonsense but isn't a surrogate Mummy so he can grow into a man. After all he's already got Shirley, Carly ,Pat and Denise as mother figures!!!

Perhaps some mind games to make Deano feel worthless? Or perhaps even manipulate Bradley and Deano into fighting over Stacey in the hope that she will hate both of them because of it. Or maybe just beat him up LOL.
