Yeh, that could easily happen. I want Deano to feel very low and then have something happen that makes him bounce back...know what i mean?

I've just seen an old clip of Deano and Dawn on you tube. He was very sweet. If Deano had always been like that with women he wouldnt be in the state he is now. What made him start acting like a Prat?? As for Sean will he think Deano is Staceys older man if so he will be in for BIG trouble

Im hoping theres a reason as to why he does act a little arrogant at times and liie he feels that no one cares about what he says.

It aparently says in a soap magazine that this comming month, Stacey falls in love with 3 men...my guessing is Deano, Max and Bradley.

You must have seen both Deano's and Sean's name come up over and over again when people start with the 'off with their heads' stuff. Carly and Chelsea get it a lot too.

Outside of DS they are really popular....I have no idea why people on ds keep calling for some of the most popular characters to be axed.

Well popular isn't necessarily a sign of good acting. All the aforementioned people look good, have good health etc.

And if people are criticising for acting quality then good for them - as long as it's relevant critiques.

Not everyone likes the same characters, and if you really hate a character it's only natural to want them to leave the show.

But other people like these characters so why should they leave the show because that person doesn't like them. I don't have a problem with people saying they hate the characters but it's a bit selfish to call for them to be axed when other people like them.

Popular characters attract people to the show, it's up to the writers to keep them there.

If every soap character that people thought were crap actors were axed we wouldn't be able to fill one soap never mind all the ones we have now.

Well, I personally think popularity in a soap also comes with good acting. Yet I know some popular people who can't act for their lives.

This is the part of the post I debated putting, but Antony Cotton has a large fanbase yet is a bad actor. For example.

I wouldn't watch soaps if they didn't tackle issues, have good drama, and even unlikable characters who you may love to hate. And this post is kinda circular: all I will say they all NEED some good actors. Even if some turn out as eye candy. And I think this is fine in EE now.

If you're referring to axing wishlists, don't take it so seriously. I don't think anyone is going to actually petition for the characters to be given the boot. It's just a bit of fun, saying who, in your own ideal world, would be axed from the show.

As long as theres threads like these for people to talk about their favourite characters, all is good

It's not much fun when it starts causing fights hence the reason they are banned. I'm not talking about being serious or people petitioning..... some people don't treat it as a bit of fun they use it to launch a nasty attack on the actor/actress who some people like and friction starts.
