Dont know that action based on manipulation is worth having. To a large extent it shows she has no respect for Deano what so ever which if he realises that is going to make him feel very low

Everyone in Walford will hate Deano once the truth comes out. The Slaters will hate him for obvious reasons, Carly's already furious and this is when she only suspects he's lying, Patrick will realise his trust was misplaced, Yolande will hate him for helping Patrick's real attacker escape justice, Bradley might be reminded of when he was also a victim of Deano's lies and also the effect this has on Stacey, and his dad will be disappointed in him.

it did say in one of the interviews Deano would grow up. i do hope chelsea gets her comeupance some how and not just

i agree i hope they dont change him too much , just make him grow up a bit but leave his caring side intact. just help him wise up to the world a bit. He might find his luck with the ladies changes as a result.

It's just occurred to me that Pat should have a bigger part in Deano's current storyline. She has been in exactly the same position as him before - trying to send a bad person to prison, but for something they didn't do. Pat knew Janine didn't kill Laura but testified against her anyway because Janine deserved to suffer for her evil deeds. Now Deano's in the same position of trying to make Sean pay by giving evidence for something he didn't do. Pat and Deano should have a heart-to-heart. At the very least, I hope Pat stands by Deano when the truth comes out.

Actually, the EastEnders writers and producers seem to churn out miserable and predictable dross for the favourite, nice characters again and again.

I would love Pat to defend Deano, as she has been in that situation too. And Yolande and Mo are two jealous, insecure bitches who seem to be very petty and disliking towards Pat in the first place. You'd think they and Peggy would have dropped their grudges by now, before it makes them any older, bitter and wrinklier.

I know she had affairs with Frank and Patrick, but Yolande, Peggy and Mo were off with her beforehand. I'm sure she has apologised and time has passed and they surely should have forgiven and forgot. They can't be like this forever towards her, can they? It gets boring and predictable.
