I will really really REALLY miss Deano, Carly and Kevin - its such a huge shame - im hoping the rest of there time on EastEnders will be great, and that we see more of them over the coming months before their exits.

Yeh i agree - i hope we see lots of them up until their exit.

according to the sun, the girl who plays carly said 'its a shame the option on my contract hasnt been picked up,. but it wouldnt feel right to remain in the square without the rest of my family. ive not been able to accept work while playing carly so i cant wait to get my teeth into other roles-but i wouldnt change a thing about my eastenders experiene'...and and then Matt added 'ive had a really good time at eastenders, and ive learnt so much from the cast'...

so it sounds official. but i dont see why the characters couldnt stay on without kevin, their mother is still there, and step sister, its not like they would have no-one. i think really, kevin leaving was an excuse for the axings, and they must not have been too happy with the characters anyways, because, if they were more popular characters, they would keep them on no matter who quit.

argh but why axe all three just because kevin is leaving?!?! It really doesnt make sense. Deano is a stronmg character and he arrived in the square without a dad in thr first place, and kevin was gonna go travelling anyway

also:

1) What will happen to Chelsea and Libby whilst Denise is away?

2) Will Pat continue with Chelsea, Libby and Denise living in her house?

3) Seeing as Denise will return - will divorce be on the cards? or will she be widowed ( hopefully not)

4) How will they leave - in a taxi or in a coffin (or any other way)?

I hope one of them leaves in a coffin and the other in a police car! How exciting!

I like the Wicks family but to be fair, i think the producers have completely wasted their opportunities for them to shape the Wicks family to be good characters. They've hardly had anything memorable to work with that we could remember as viewers once they leave the show - the characters have been likeable too me, but they've also been completely wasted in my opinion especially Deano.

The wicks family had a whole week to impress us when they did the storyline introducing Shirley. They were on holiday and got a lot of screen time. I think if the Brannings went away we would be glued to our seats. I do really like the Wicks family but they could have won us over...... (am I being too hard; sometimes I can be...sorry)

Are the rumours true that you have axed deano and carly just because kevin has quit , please dont axe them they are the best thing to happen to your show in a long time and since they have been in the show it has improved so please re-think this sitiation please, matt di angelo is the best character ever to appear in the show please keep him in and improve his character by getting him a girlfriend maybe pretti cos they suit each other.

Is it true about axing Deano and Carly? If so, then i will not watch the show again. Matt Di Angelo was just improving as a character and actor. He has so much potential and alot more people were begining to like him. It is so unfair that you have axed Deano and Carly as a result of Kevin (Phil Daniels) not renewing his contract. I think you are only using this as an excuse to axe Deano and Carly. Alot of people are upset about this and Matt has a huge fan base and there are alot of angry people. I dont think they should be axed just because one person has decided to leave. Its stupid. I hope you are pleased with what you have done.

I hear that you are axing the Wicks' family and I had to tell you my opinion. I think it is a big mistake to axe Matt Di Angelo because he is a brilliant actor and one of the main reasons I watch Eastenders. Matt does have a big fanbase and this is a very unhappy step that you are making.
I hope you re-consider this step.
