it will be good to see Deano again. Bet it seemed odd for matt when he first went back to work(for at least the first 10 mins) SCD must be very all consuming.
funny, I put this on the other site, but all of a sudden it seems like the boys grown up!! even if he is self conscious (all the best people are!!!).

I'm sure he will turn up somewhere shortly. Matt has said he would like to do some stage work. I dont know if he has anything in the pipeline(other than SCD tour) but seeing he can sing act and dance and must be currently a big billing name i would be very surprised if we didnt see him again very soon

I hope we will see him again. At least he's on our screens till feb time

He does seem very grown up but that may be a front because I did hear that he breaks down and says he needs money but am not totally sure

yeah apparently he puts a brave face on but shirley can see right through him. He asks for money and cigarettes to keep the bullies off him i think...

It was nice to see Deano again tonight and I liked those scenes but did they not sit right with anyone else?

I mean the parts with 'there's a new daddy on the wing.' I know Deano's an idiot but surely we shouldn't be laughing AT HIM while he's in jail? I think the writers could have tried to elicit some genuine sympathy for him for once than making him the fool....again.

However...'I lent him my CD player....permanently.' (or something) was a funny line and well delivered.

I know what you mean...I wonder whether he will change when he's out or be troubled in some way...

He did seem different tonight, like he was trying to be somebody he wasnt. Which, i dont blame him for, he is easily lead. And, hopfully, none of us here have been to prison, so we dont know how we would turn out....

I know what you mean laura - he was def trying to be someone different. I hope he isn't exacty the same when he comes out - I hope he has words with Sean

But Deano is lovable!! Thats why we all love him. He's stupid , immature, thoughtless sometimes and maybe not the brightest spark but still lovable. Thats partly why we want to take him home and give him a hug.
I agree about the initial bit in prison. i could imagine Deano putting a brave face on, maybe showing off to the likes of Bradley about being the "new daddy" but not his family. Deano always wants to make his Dad proud of him so saying (but lying) he stood up to the bullies would ring true . but not that.
They said Deano would be out in six weeks so I guess thats when we will see him next other thanPrison might have changed Deano but I am sure he will be very down. The mystery is why doesnt he want to stay with Shirley
