Last night i thought was one of the best episodes of the show i have ever seen, patsy kensit is really settling in and gave a very realist performance of a nurse who has the best interests of the patients at heart, yet what let the show down was the tedious Ric, his silly daughter and that god awfull untrained joke of a doctor who is soon to be his wife, I mean if this is the quality of doctors in africa then I am afraid they are well and truly fcuked, even the actress who plays her has no screen charisma and seems unable to deliver any line with any believability,Ric's daughter is back and yet the actress has not shown any intention of trying to learn how to deliver lines and act, but i will add my only problem with the character Ric is he is a very believable p rick but he can act and is a very good at it, but his character seems stuck in the holby of yesteryear and out of place in the modern Holby, one last word the girl who plays Lola done good last night hope shes not leaving, i could not cope if she and connie were not around,

I like Ric and to a certain extent Jess but I cant stand Thandie. She cant act for toffee and shes meant to be a trained doctor..

I can't stand Thandie either, don't know what Ric sees in her. Diane and Faye have both been around when she has messed up.
I actually really like Faye last night, she seemed to work well with that young lad Connor they way she interacted with him.

Yeah I agree Footiechick. When Patsy first joined, I didnt think she would suit the programme, but it goes to show really that she is a better actress when you she isnt being a bitch.

Yeah i was like that, i really though she would have been like she was in Emmerdale, and i couldn't see her being any different. But now you can see a completely different side to her and shows that she can be nurse like.

Yeah.

I have only got into Holby City in the past three or four months, I used to watch it relogisouly when it first started all them years ago, then I kind of waived for a couple of years, watching it every now and again, but now I watch it all the time.

Whos your fave character?

I caught a little bit of Patsy on the Jonathon Ross show (was flicking channels) I was amazed at how annimated she was. Why the hell doesn`t she show some of that emotion when she acts. In Emmerdale I always felt she was scared a hair on her head would get out of place and in Holby she seems to play all scenes dead pan, with no emotion.
Can`t stand Ric at the moment, Have never liked Mark, he is so holier than thou that it makes me cringe.
Ric`s girl friend will kill someone soon.

Yeah you can see that happening due to the fact that other members of staff have already had to cover for her in front of Ric.

Ric was better in the early days. I loved the friendship he had with Tash Bandara and Kath Shaughnessy, also with Sam Kennedy. He's just out of place these days.

For people who haven't watched Holby since the early years, they won't have seen Ric with the old cast who left, which is a shame because they were great together!
