scart problems
I had a set-up of a TV, VCR, DVD & NTL Box using only 2 scart leads.
When the TV was on I could watch NTL and record/play back via my VCR when the VCR was set to L1. If I switched on my DVD, the screen would display the DVD menu and would play. I could also control the volume of the TV, VCR & DVD via the NTL remote control. I have just purchased a new TV, but am now using 3 scart leads - the VCR still functions as before, but I have to change the TV settings to watch the DVD and now the NTL remote control will not access the volume - I have to use the TV remote control Is there a set way to make the scart connection from the various appliances so that it will function as before? All the equipment originally with the exception of the NTL box was JVC - only the TV has changed as it is now a LG I will find out how all the scarts are now connected - I know that 2 come from the NTL box and my VCR is connected to the TV in AV1, the DVD to AV2 will find out where the 2 from the NTL box go to. Thank you in advance Ian |
