Denise Van Outen

I would like to know if she annoys anyone else as much as she annoys me?

I know she appeared in ALW's musical "Tell Me On Sunday" but dear God what is the point of her being on the show other than oggling all the boys.

I do not think I have heard her say anything really constructive and her being there is pointless in my opinion.

I like all the others John Barrowman, Bill Kenwright and Zoe - singing coach (don't know her surname) they have all made valid points but Denise just sits there like she is lusting after all the boys.

I always find the female 'eye candy' judge on any reality television program annoying. At least Denise has a little knowledge but I wish she'd stop leering over the boys!

The most irritating is the one that dresses like a prostitute on Grease Is The Word! Oops, am I allowed to say that? lol.

Denise is a million times better, at least we can be comforted by that. But I didn't like her outfit last week.

She's far more qualified than Sinutta on 'Grease' who makes such a big deal of having lost out to Debbie Gibson for the lead in the show a couple of decades ago but whose only relevant qualification to be a judge on that series must be her greasy face.

As far as leering over the contestants, I think that role on 'ADWD' has been commandeered by John Barrowman.

She has the CV to be there but lets herself down. Her comments don't do her knowledge and experience justice - in fact she reminds me of a more attractive Arlene (the letch) Phillips.

I agree she leers but in anice way unlike sharon osborne who is old enough to know better. But in Denise's favour I think her critique is always spot on and quite often the others on the panel agree with her.

How's she gonna contain herself with the 'loin cloth' mission?

I was thinking exactly the same thing! She just looks at them and her eyes light up!!!!!!

Yeah but it comes across as sleazy because she's a good 10 years older than most of them.

But sometimes ALW has the same effect - makes me cringe ever so slightly...........

GN is the only gay in the village but at least he's trying to contain himself.

Sorry forgot John Barrowman but haven't noticed him lusting this time.

He was worse when it was the Marias.

Stop confusing us.

Aww leave Denise alone. I've always thought she was a down-to-earth, warm-hearted girl. I think she tells it how it is.

O come on everyone, she makes a good contribution to the panel, and she has a bit of fun, she is not the only one who makes suggestive comments (in fun) - are you all jealous? My wife is 40, and she makes comments about some of the lads too, but it is just light hearted. I am 56, and you ought to hear what I think about the dancers lol

personally i don't think denise has the qualifications to be there, how many shows has she been in? 2 as far as i know, Chicago and Tell Me on a Sunday. so does thayt make her an expert... no

personally they should have gone for someone like Ruthie Henshall who has been a west end/broadway mainstay for since the early nineties

I love Ruthie but suggest you do a little research Denise has been doing musical theatre since she was a child and has a varied CV

as suggested i did a bit of research see below....

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0887670/bio

http://www.filmreference.com/film/69...Van-Outen.html

yes in all it states that she performed in Les Mis at the age of 11 in 1985 in the chorus, but that's it till Chicago 2002, followed by Tell me on a sunday and few other stage performances, by my reckoning that's less than 1/2 a dozen major stage appearances in her career

yes she's had a varied career, with plenty of presenting jobs, some tv/film acting and a failed singing career.

look i didn't intend to diss her career i just felt that as a musical star her credentials were somewhat less than adequate compared to someone like Ruthie or even John Barrowman for example
