I can't say I am the biggest fan of Adam, but he seems to have been turned into a scapegoat and a target, Katie being at the forefront of it. Yes, he's a car salesman but that doesn't give her the right to make jibes at the guy at every opportunity.

He did rather well in the task tonight and I also find him slightly amusing.

Eugh...the man is just one big bundle of negativity...he should never be hired, because he'd bring the moral down of everyone around him...

Although I think Katie has some 'class' issues with Adam. How frightfully awful of her!

I was thinking the same, Binyamin. He is rather dour, and as such not a very charming person, but he is actually quite sensible, and did well in this task. Very poor choice to be taken into the board room

Wasn't too keen on the others labelling him a 'liar' when it appears what he said was true. Some nasty, rather personal comments aimed his way as well.

I have stated a few times on here that I rather fancy the guy so i'm not very impartial on this matter, but I thought the ganging up on him tonight was terrible. He is the only one who seems to be speaking sense and not speak in this business bulls**t that i'm sure a lot of us have all heard many times. He is surrounded by people picking on him (alone in the basement anyone?) so i'm not surprised he's going to be negative.

He needs the chance to carry on, because i'm sure once the main "mouths" have gone he will shine and do very well.

It was interesting that Margaret stepped in, on more than one occasion, to defend Adam.

I said that tonight... I think she did it twice, maybe three times... also during the aftermath after Natalie had been fired, she seemed to steer opinion towards him. I just genuinely like the guy from what has been shown about him.

yes, it was quite telling....

I think that without Adam's work, Natalie would have failed by an even bigger margin, and I think Margaret thinks the same.

Adam is OK, nothing wrong with him. It's all very well for some of the others to say that he is negative when he is repeatedly proved right. Sounds like sour grapes to me.

And despite his reservations, he always throws his all into the task as we witnessed tonight.

Katie clearly has class-related issues about him. She also has some pretty serious personal issues that she needs to address. Going on camera & wishing Adam dead was appalling. Very unpleasant. How can anyone work with someone that reacts to situations in such an extreme manner?

Adam really has to watch it. They keep dragging him back to the board room, hoping Sir Alan will get fed-up of seeing him. That's why Margaret's interventions were so welcome. She spotted the dishonesty behind the motives of many of the others.

But after Natalie was fired she said to SAS that he was 'disrupting' or words of that effect?

yes, but i think she has a balanced picture of his strengths and weaknesses...unlike his team.

Yes she did & I think she is wrong. Nevertheless she did intervene in his favour, several times, when it mattered.

He's still my favourite but I think he himself is also in danger of suffering from his own negatviity. I telepatically tried to force him to take his head out of his hand in the boardroom!! He's good, but his outlook is sometimes a bit dark..

I like Adam. He comes out with good points and works hard for the team. By the end of tonight's episode I was rooting for him to stay. Katie has gone way down on my list of people I want to win as she has got some something against poor Adam.

She hopes he'll get hit by a car......I'll say she's got something against him....

I agree...I don't think anyone seems very adept at handling his questioning. He seems more frustrated than negative to me at the moment. The whole issue could be reframed to expose the flaws in the PM's approach.

I mean why doesn't someone take him aside and deal with any negativity if it's such a big issue.

Katie has very astutely used this label to mark him out... the sad old '80's throwback she is.

It's quite a clever tactic because it can be laid against you very effectively in the boardroom - whether you've performed your tasks well or not - "Yes you sold loads, but no one wants to work with you!" Eventually that's usually lethal.

I don't see much wrong with Adam. He may not be a ray of sunshine, but those cows are picking on him. I don't think he's particularly argumentative either, that side of him merely surfaces as he has to defend himself.

Agree with most comments here, he did exactly what was asked of him, despite being placed in the basement to do the crap job of telephoning, then got castigated for it! I really went off Katie and Natalie tonight, esp Katie who spoke about him in such a condescending way.

Adam is ok. He can be a bit negative at times. but sometimes that's what you need if things aren't going well. There's no point pretending things are great, when they obviousley are not.

He made quite a good PM last week and handled himself well in the boardroom. I think Katie is threatned by him as he is not in awe of her and has not put her on a peddle stool like some of the other contestants. He stands up to her.

I flagged up Adam as one to watch early on, when Katie and Paul were f**ting about and he rang Tre to suggest sing-o-grams. A pretty good last resort idea, as it turned out.

I very much hope that Katie is being badly edited because she came across as real "posh twatty" tonight.

I think this is true, but Adam has to watch it for other reasons as well. When SAS turns to you and says "I think you're disruptive" the right response is not to argue with him! Lucky that wasn't Donald Trump and his bad-ass-snap-decision-self! Adam would have been gone!

I agree with people about his negativity but I think the diting has picked up on his "negativity and made it his main focus plus posh katie has been slagging him off and boom everyone thinks his negative
But you neversaw him being charming etc to the Elizebeth or the people on the database thingy
Or really the sales he made

see clever editing!!!!!!!!!!!

Normally, I don't spellcheck other posters (cos I make so many mistakes myself, lol) but this one made me laugh so much I had to re-post it. I can't quite see Katie on a bike myself, think she's more a horsey gal

That line sent me to the floor when she said it. It was like, Oh...so your really posh then...

Adam was given a raw deal by evil Natalie tonight. She deliberately set out to get him fired from the beginning, I was so glad when her wicked plan failed and she was forced to get back on her broomstick.

Since the first things he did in the series ive been a fan of Adam's because while the others are talking about great ideas and things that could work, hes pulling them back down to 'lets actually get some things sold'

A lot of them seem to be mixing negativity up with reality I feel. Eg it would be nice the other week if could get 2 dj sets sorted making £200, but reality was they had nothing sold late on and Adam was trying to get the other 2 he was with to actually get something solid done.
