But was Tre making any reference to the fact that Katie is female? He has said the same thing about some of the men. Just because he is having a go at a woman, doesn't mean he's having a go at her because she's a woman.

Actually I share his opinion of Katie.

I don't think he is a misogynist. I think he treats most people with the same level of contempt, male or female! A lot of the points he makes are very valid; he could just work on his diplomacy skills. Plus, if he goes the series will be completely boring.

Tre = good entertainment. I find myself sometimes laughing at him and other times laughing with him! The show needs him and Katie (who I loathe) as they are like pantomime characters and make the show more interesting.

I started off detesting Tre as a vile individual, but I now I think Tre might have a future as an art critic!

After all not everone who can say.......
"We start with a fish tail..and it's a tale about man's callous disregard for the ocean - the ocean gives birth.. and we essentially crucify the ocean..if we can take that to the next level in the form of ecology..." etc
Without laughing!

I hated Tre at first and I shall be a bit disappointed if he wins, but I do agree he makes brilliant TV and it currently the only interesting person in the show imo. He provides for me a comic value in that he takes himself so entirely seriously and is in capable of thinking that anyone might know anything better than he does. I found last week's show deadly dull because he was behaving in quite a sane manner and am hoping for better this week. I want more of Tre making a complete ass of himself and then blaming everyone else, showing his complete inability and lack of deserve to work as part of a team and I would love, just LOVE to see him talk to Sir Alan the way he talks to the others. I actually think Sir A rather likes him. I don't want him to win but I think he could be a contender, and to be honest I think they're all pretty vacuous and awful so I don't really care who wins.

I think he's an unpleasant, nasty and small minded person and won't miss him at all when he goes.

I likes him - he's a great character and often hits the nail on the head - I don't find him as mysogynistic or even as big a bullshitter as Paul (apprentice 1) who said he would have trouble working for a woman boss. The programme needs the Syeds and the Tres for the entertainment value.

There is nothing great about being foul-mouthed or misogynistic.

There isn't a lot to choose between him or the horrible Paul - it's one reason this programme is bad news for women and just confirms so many negative aspects of business for them.

It's supposed to be about business and opportunity. Having people like that makes a mockery and deprives others of an opportunity. Do they have idiots on the American Apprentice?
