sadly the whole loincloth bit didn't really live up to the hype, did it? It barely showed anyone, and was more focusing on their lack of lines learnt!

I was expecting some slow motion shots, or at the very least a pan along the line-up

I hope you didn't mean the loincloth

Heres hoping that they make a reappearance in later shows!

Why did we only see four contestants in the loincloth dabacle? They all messed up big time and the cringe factor was going through the roof! All that blubbing... give me a break, what a load of big girls blouses. I do know that seven out of the ten messed up, so three of the guilty will not have their halos tarnished. I defy anyone to name the three that could cut it.

With the trouble the Beeb have been in over phone-ins, I would have thought that all voting numbers would have been shown at once, instead of the first four (along with profiles) coming up before the first person sang and the rest of the numbers only appearing when each individual performed. This meant that the last two were at a distinct disadvantage, especially Craig who only had five minutes or so before the lines were frozen. Could that be why he ended up in the first sing off? How about opening the lines after everyone has performed, or am I being too cynical in thinking that something is going on?

My money would be on Daniel, Lee and Lewis. They were the only three who weren't showing fluffing or blubbing.

The lines were opened after each performance this week in order to allow sufficient votes to come in before the end of the first as the first sing-off was to take place then.

Perhaps the timing did have a bearing on Craig being in the first sing-off but the fact remains that Craig is neither very good not very popular. I doubt very much that if the phone lines had been opened for 10 seconds after Daniel, Lee or Lewis performed, any of them would have been in the bottom two.

Sorry, you have one or more names wrong. Also everyone should have a level playing field. Certain performers seem to be more prominent than others because of the way the show is directed which makes the rest seem less popular. I hear a lot of tuning problems that never get commented on. If they can't sing in tune they should forget it!

Is Lee, Dan & Rob? didn't Lewis muff it?

Think of someone who sings in tune all the time and is almost invisible on this show. He just gets on with business quietly without excuses or backchat. He hardly rates a mention in this forum and I can't understand why. He looks the most like Joseph but for some reason, goes totally unnoticed.
Remember that although he has been made to sweat each week, this doesn't mean that he is getting fewer votes than the rest. Just a pity we didn't see everyone coping with their little ordeal in the loincloths. I'm sure that would have changed some perceptions of who is serious about being Joseph!
