It infuriates me too. What's wrong with selling cars anyway? I think there's a definite snobbery going on against Adam and nobody makes it clearer than Katie. However, I'm also disappointed in some of the others who are beginning to take her lead and looking down their noses at Adam.

Kate is enigmatic. An iron fist in a velvet glove.
Certainly a charismatic person, however her Machiavellian streak may be her downfall.
- I dont think people have warmed to her because of her duplicitous nature . She doesnt seem to confront people and has made some very snide and hurtful remarks about the other contestants.
It just makes Adam shine.

God, Katie was evil last night. She appears to have no particular skill or talent besides 'talking posh' and finding ways of belittling others.

She has no selling skills but she thinks she has. She has no creativity but she thinks she has. it seems like she has been brought up to assume she's brilliant, when in fact she's not.

I am sure that most candidates have slagged each other off but maybe not in such an evilly sardonic way as Katie. I think she is great to watch. So much confidence and yet very little ability. She has caused the downfall of her friend (Natalie) and lover in a remarkably short space of time.

To be honest the next time she is in the boardroom she will go but for entertainment I hope she stays for a few weeks yet.

Get rid of a couple more dull ones first please or Jadine with that huge chip wobbling on her shoulder.

I'm sick of reading about persuasive 'editing' in all these reality shows. You can only edit what actually happened and was said!! (The reason Katie comes over as a 'pantomine villain' is because that's how she's behaving, they're not making it up!)

I'm sure you are right about the editing where Katie is concerned. How can you erase the unpleasant stuff that has come out of her mouth? Would anyone seriously think she'd make a good colleague or good boss to work with? The woman is very unpleasant and totally unprofessional. If I was SA, I'd be looking to get rid of her at the first opportunity...she's poison.

I hope that when she's on YF they show her the footage of herself that they showed Paul last night.

Katies tactic is sucking up to whoever is the team manager so if they do loose they wont pick her to go back into the boardroom.

Some brand manager who went along thinking cheese and sauasages were a good idea to sell to the french!

Also she kept on about the #100 they paid for the banner yet no one mentione the #500 odd they spent at Mackro!

Agreed, however bad the editing is done, Katiebitch still said those awful things (mainly about Adam).

She may have talent, but she's crap at people skills (thought she probably thinks she is wonderful with people). She is comfortable with people she thinks are in her own class, and awful to/with people who she thinks are beneath her. You can't be like that in business, people aren't stupid and you'll end up seriously disliked (and suprised, hardly anyone likes her)

I agree she comes across as an awful bitch but she's just so entertaining - I loved that line about Kristina being too orange to be taken seriously. They should give Katie her own show!!!

To be fair, her people skills are good - she has most of them eating out of her hand (except Adam, who she wouldn't allow anywhere near her lily-white mitts anyway).

Every week Katie is using Adam as a scapegoat for the team's failures. She wouldn't even say a word against Paul in yesterday's task even though it was glaringly obvious his cheese idea was a huge mistake and completely blamed Adam for the advert and Christina for being argumentative (who I also think she sees as a big threat). She didn't act professionally because even if you are very close to someone (like she was to Paul) a professional person would point out their mistakes.

I adore Katie.

Yes, she's spiteful and vicious in the comments that she makes - but she's also quite hilarious. I think she genuinely wants one or two of the candidates to die in a painful way!

Did you see the look on her face when the other two came back into the house at the end...god talk about bulldog chewing a wasp...she is vile..bring back the guillotine....

That's why I think she is good value. My editing comment was not a defense of her. She is a genuine bitch. I just don't believe that the others aren't making derogatory comments too.

I reckon the BBC will tell Alan to keep her in until at least the final 5 for the pure entertainment factor but there is no way she will get a job she is utterley detestable and makes me want to jump through the Tv and stuff those Hamster chops full of what she speaks all the time bulls***
Also the way she despises Adam is revolting, yeah the guy is a bit monotone, and speaks his mind about Katies so called great ideas, which always fall flat on the floor. But theres no need to be so blatant about how she wants him to be run over that is just sadistic!

TBH Katie is treading a bit of a dangerous line with some of the comments that she's coming out with.

I think for her own good, somebody at production should be putting a word in her ear and telling her to tone it down with the literal comments. Not that it will detract from how unpleasant she really is, but at least she won't have a lynch mob after her at the end of the show.

If anyone wants the evidence of how a contestant's comments can be taken quite literally, then you only need to look at the last Celeb Big Brother and the outcome of the comments that were made on that show.

I wonder rather than getting Katie to tone her comments down do you not think the production team may be encouraging her to be even more bitchy as its good tv??

While Katie isn't a racist I agee with you that she is in danger of being as disliked as Jade G when she emerges. Katie doesn't seem to realize she has got herself in a hole and is still digging..

I think Kristina has so far demonstrated most talent. I dislike Katie for the complete reverse. She has shown nothing but the creep and gob factor to me.

Very good point re the production team encouraging her comments to get the viewers and the ratings.

However, Katie is very much who she is...and that is a very unpleasant individual...as was Jade Goody.

I don't know where the line should be drawn now that the whole CBB and Jade Goody thing got magnified last year.

I just think it would make sense for the production team to warn her off.

That said, it does not detract from what has came out of her mouth. I doubt Katie is that naive as to be actually encouraged to do it for the sake of.....what exactly? Is there anyone out there these days that would risk saying a few choice controversial remarks for the sake of a few extra bucks? I doubt it. The money they received would need to be enough to leave the country as things stand.

As for Katie saying them.....then it seems to me (incredibly) that she really is astoundingly stupid. Did she ever watch CBB or was she far too busy trying to get her hooks into some royalty or some other high flyer at the time it was being aired?

It seems to me like Katie has recognised the media potential in being the panto villain-- a lot of her remarks sound very rehearsed to me, like Victor BB5 (was he BB5? The Jungle Cat guy.) I think she must be angling for a media career, instead of wanting to work for Siralan.
