I was so delighted that Adam made it through - and the look on her face was tremendous.

She is such a cow - and gets on side with the TL so as not to be chosen for the final showdown.

I think SAS should make her team leader or at the very least make Adam and put her in his team...to see what she does then.

There would be no need for production to ask her to tone down her remarks. If that's what they wanted they could merely not use them. They are using her pieces to camera instead of other people's precisely because they do make good TV. I suspect she is aware that being more colourful will get her more airtime. A higher media profile would be insurance in case the Amstrad job doesn't materialise.

Personally I think she has over-stepped the line, but not by much, and I doubt she had any feedback about it at the time. It's not like her friends or family could see the interviews and warn her. Nor do the production team have her best interests at heart.

I still think she is a strong performer in other ways. Even though she's only been on the winning tasks once, most ex-candidates speak well of her and she seemed to be an effective PM. She's never been in the boardroom. She could easily make it to the final four.

Adrian Chiles summed it up. The British people hate her because of her duplicity. I can't put it any better. At least Tre would tell you he hated you to your face. What you see is what you get. That's not the case with Katie.

I really can't disagree with what you've stated...as much as I would like to. Because to be honest, I really dislike the woman and don't want her to win.

But that said, she has a canny, manipulative way about her that has managed to keep in with the rest of the team. She also manages to escape being brought into the boardroom. So yes, some respect there. It's like the 'Great Katie Escape' how she does it week after week

So yes, I have a grudging respect for her...even though I want her to fall flat on her face.

However, I would hate to think that she has been 'asked' to do and say everything she has done on the show so far....in whatever way these production team people manage to manipulate people and exploit them. But then again, I would have to ask, why Katie and nobody else? Why is she the only one who is obnoxious?

So it doesn't make sense at all. And my only conclusion is that she really is the bitch from hell that nobody in their right mind would want to work with.

I see that as a reflection of how effective she is on tasks, not of how Machiavellian she is. Natalie, for example, has said that in post-firing interviews.
