My contract with O2 is up next week and i want to change my contract without much change in my bill. I'm currently paying £15 a month for 100 anytime minutes and 500 texts but would prefer something like 150 minutes and about 300 texts. Will O2 agree with this or tell me that it will cost more? I dont think that's an unreasonable offer myself. They'd better give me the silver K800i for free too or i will be threatening them with cancellation!

I renewed 3 Months ago and was offered that, didn't need it at the time, I got the standard "no problem sir, contact us in 3 months and we'll set it up for you" All well and good until I tried, I got "Sorry sir, that tariff no longer exists" and "you can't change tariff until you're 9 months into your new contract"

In the end they offered me 100 minutes and 25 texts for £25 per Month and not including calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers - it's much cheaper on PAYG talkalot!

So watch out what your offered and them welching on promises.

I was just looking for a thread on o2 Retentions, I just rang them to get a decent deal out of them. Best they would give me was something like £25 a month with 750 mins and 500 texts for 12 months and 5 months at £30 I think it was.

I've been with o2 for around 6 years and this is the best they would give me. Anyone got any better? I don't really want to get tied down to an 18 month contract and the 12 month one wasn't all that. I asked for an N95 and all she said I would have to get on a £50 a month contract for that.

I will request me PAC next week to see how much better the offer gets.

I'm in the same boat dips. Been with them for about 6 years too. They still do seem more bothered about new customers than their existing one's. What is the PAC code for? I might be asking for mine too on friday.

I got phoned up by o2 today about my renewal, managed to get a Blackberry Pearl for £20, with £25 a month for 200 mins and 200 texts, ample for me, but it is on an 18 month contract.

I think he was going to offer me a samsung D900 or something else, but I interrupted him and asked about it, and got it. So, if in doubt, ask!
