I have several voicemail. Does 123 cost you outside your allowance I'm on DTT 675. When they send me an SMS saying I have voicemail it offers me 123 or 07782333123. Which is a mobile number, I rung the mobile number as there supposed to be in my allowance, but it didn't take anything from my allowance

Yes it does cost but there's a way around it.

If you've set up your 3mail email account properly on your handset, voicemails are also sent to your inbox.

Simply go to your email and sync it to download any new messages. Any voicemails sent to your mobile are downloadable as a sound file attachment and can be listened to or saved on your handset for free.

I said it's free!

To set up a 3mail email address read your phone's manual. It ties in with your voicemail so that you get an email as well as a text when someone leaves a message on your voicemail.

I know how to get to the settings, but do I have to create a 3mail account or can I use my NTL one?

You have to set up a 3mail email account on the phone.

While I do the email voicemail deely on my PAYG 3 handset, I just hold down "1" on my Pay Monthly contract for Voicemail access and I don't think I've ever been charged - not even sure if it comes out of my minutes.
