Age to have a mobile phone contract?
Hello,
I have asked this in a thread before but: How old do you have to be to have a mobile phone contract (pay monthly) 16 or 18? I have heard of people getting them when they are under 18. I know you have to have a bank account for one. Thanks, Stephen. |

Is it not generally 18 to enter into a contract? I'll see if I can find out. You can get married at 16 in Scotland though and that's a pretty major contract.

18. Just get your parents to get it, and you pay them the bill.

Thanks for your replies, I think I will stick to pay as you go.
The reason why I asked because with T-Mobile you pay about £15 a month and get £34 worth of credit and a free mobile (one of them is a Sony K800i), it is a 18 month contract though. |
