which one to buy
need help with choice from all the lads that have done their research out there, between panny 50px70 or pio 507xd, pq on sd more important than cost.
not used for gaming etc, but occasional dvds |

I'd go and try them both myself as they aren't cheap
I don't think you can go far wrong with Pioneer plasmas, but I won't pretend to know much about the other one.

We have a Panny TH50PX600 (which I believe is similar to the PX70) with only SD sources and the picture is great. We got it because Panasonic have a good reputation for plasma picture, and most opinions I could find agreed.
The sheer size of the picture does show up flaws in some poor quality sources, but most Freeview stuff is good and most dvd films are so good I'm going to be pushed to justify buying a HD dvd player until this one gives up the ghost. |
