For me it's Karen MacDonald.
I've come to the conclusion that she must persistantly have trapped wind. Her face is always contorted, she's always whinging, sarcastic, irritable and nasty - how could one man cope with that far less two.

For me it would be Gail Platte. It's not her role or how she plays it, it's her missing chin. Maybe she should try wearing Pat Evan's earrings.

To turn it around a bit, Here is why I like the ones that get the most grief here.

Barry Evans: he was given a weak character to play and did it well. However, in the past week we've seen a meek bumbling man turn into a enraged man full of pent up anger. He has also played that roll very well. Plus in real life he has a wonderful singing voice.

Nana Moom: she makes me smile.

Spencer: He was given a role of a shy teen who is trying to grow up. He portrays the way a boy without life experiences would act and I think he does it well.

Barry Evans without doubt. Although he has had it tough lately (most of it brought on by himself) I still think he deserves a slap on the face the jumped up prat that he is.

BTW I like Karen MacDonald shes tasty

Did you see 'Barry' and his wife doing one of the holiday programmes? Also saw him on other factual programmes and he comes across as a really nice, humble kind of chap so I agree with you. His character is out of character therefore he doesn't get to me like some of the others.

Doesn't Karen MacDonald come across as a bit of a 'slapper'?

Not really. Karen started off at the bottom but had ideas above her station. She considered marrying Steve, a young businessman, an upwardly mobile move. Remember how she went on about moving to the new posh flats? She also thought she could do better than the other girls on the factory floor and didn't she go off for a while to sell sofas to football stars?

Karen has a bit of ambition and she's fiery but I don't think she's a slapper. Deep down she loves Steve, or rather she did until last night! She accepted she quite fancied Joe but she wasn't prepared to jeopodise her marriage for a one night fling with him, hence the hundred quid taxi back to home in the middle of the night. The only reason she went to the Trade fair was to prove a point both to herself, to Steve and to her employer that she was capable of doing something in her own right.

Karen was tempted but realised it would be wrong. Steve was tempted and went through with it. Joe positively wanted Karen and would do almost anything to orchestrate them getting together. Now, who out of those 3 can best be described as "slappers"?

BTW my nomination is Tracy Barlow. I hope Peter's bookies is raided and she gets shot. Soon please.

Laurel from Emmerdale. The idea that that woman is paid money to act is so ludicrous that I can't help thinking Emmerdale producers are having a joke at our expense. She is the most utterly pointless character in the history of TV. I'd say give hera plot, but that's the last thing I want!

Also Mike Baldwin - the concept that they are still hawking him about as a kind of laydees man is embarrassing to all concerned, esp. him!

I like silly little Laurel! I can't stand Mike Baldwin- he's such a creep just like Dev!

You've heard of "Material Girl" by Madonna? Well Laurel's song should be "Helium Girl"!

Cause we're living in a helium world
And I am a helium girl
You know that we are living in a helium world
And I am a helium girl

Very very good point, it's not often that someone makes such a very sensible remark.

Erm, I dont need a recap - I watch it.

Now, who out of those 3 can best be described as "slappers"?

'You misunderstood Slapper' was a play on words, the previous poster had said that Barry needed a slap and Karen has slapped Steve in the past ...

Eastenders - Spencer
Corrie - Sally
Emmerdale - No one oddly enough...

And Karen McDonald is brilliant...best character in Corrie in my opinion.

Laurel is also okay, but totally pointless...couldn't figure out WHY they brought her in which is why I thought she might've been Louise's stalker . She needs a damn storyline though...
