Aoife and Susan McFadden (Grease is the Word) are running in the 'Race for Life' along with 10 other members of Legally Blonde's cast and crewe. The girls are hoping to raise £2000 for 'Cancer Research UK'. They will be running 5K around Hyde Park on Sunday 18th July after which it's down to the Savoy Theatre for a 3.00pm matinee....

Saw somewhere that the Legally Blonde cast recording might be out in August?? Not sure what its going to be like. Aoife sounded great on June 12 the first recording day . The Delta Nu scene where Elle gets Brooke's alibi from her was so funny though that there were people laughing all through it including one woman with a very loud laugh. Sheridan was going for the laughs even more than usual everywhere and getting them and managed to crack herself as well sometimes.

Imagine thats for rehearsals. Cast change day is October 23 and thats when Caroline Keiff (Vivienne) has twittered she is leaving. Siobhan would start on October 25 in that case.

Saw Siobhan in Grease yesterday (her last day there before Lauren takes over) She is really impressive, she's got the comedy right, she's dancing really well and shes singing with massive power, in character and with some really big wow factor fireworks in the vocal too.She really looks like a leading lady and should be great as Vivienne.

Saw show in Croydon. Its very funny. Abi is very funny and just becomes Polly. She sems to be having fun, she's got a couple of songs to show off her voice and even some impressive dancing. All the show needs is more audience - Croydon was about 30% full for a Saturday matinee. They needed to market it more somehow to the under 55s - difficult perhaps when Hi De Hi last aired in 1988.

Leanne has accepted a part in the big 3rd October 25th anniversary Les Mis O2 concert. I would rather have had her or Katie Hall as Cosette.

Aoife Mulholland coiled up her skipping rope as Brooke on 24th December. Annoyingly, South Eastern trains stopped running on both days in December when I had tickets, so I never got to see Aoife and Siobhan together.

Abi gave her cabaret at the Pheasantry on April 7. Lots of variety - including, among lots of others, songs from several musicals including Fame (where she sang Think of Meryl Streep) , Oklahoma and something from Marguerite, two Sondheims, some Streisland, and ending with a singalong to Grease is The Word, from Grease. No Big Spender, but Abi demonstrated what her Nobody Does it Better sounds like when she can hear the music (pretty sensational) and why anyone casting Funny Girl should start with her. Abi is also very funny. She said this was her first cabaret in London - which may imply there will be more - highly recommended if there are. There was someone filming, so perhaps some will appear on youtube???
