Sorry mauric!

But as the wise say "one man's ceiling is another man's floor" - or words to that effect.

It's not that I don't think they're talented. They just don't appeal to me and I really can't see either of them in the role of Joesph.

The fact that we know exactly who you mean is rather telling, don't you think?! (Standing out for entirely the wrong reasons!)

Craig, Keith, Rob and Ben - to me none of them are Joseph.

Least favourite is Daniel, don't like Craig either but Daniel is the one out of all of them that I least see as Joseph. I just can't warm to him

Me thinks you have misquoted Lee but I shall let it go because you may not have been listening carefully enough to what Lee actually said! Rather just hearing what you wanted to hear and disregarding the rest

I would never accuse Daniel of being a smug git because he thought his voice could knock Lee of his pedestal - I would never suggest anything like that at all! That really would be stooping too low now wouldn't it?

Re my above comment: I like Daniel by the way I really don't think he is a smug git...the smug one has gone...

Chris or Craig - though I do think Chris is more likely to stay in than Craig.

Once again Craig has given a good vocal performance. But more importantly, he was the only one to perform properly in the battle scene from Les Miserables. He was the only one who wasn’t out of breath and the only one to do a bit of ad-lib acting in the part. Unknown to most people, he was one of only three the previous week who didn’t mess up during the loincloth scene and start blubbing. They only showed the first four and, as they all were hopeless, must have decided not to show the rest. Congratulations to the BBC for showing that he was the only one showing a professional attitude to the job in hand this week

He has been consistent in everything he has done in this competition and just gets on with business, without making excuses. Unfortunately, being left to almost last each week, to find out if he is safe, or in the sing off must be really getting to him.

I think he looks like Joseph. I am convinced he could handle the part. But he must believe that when his music starts next Saturday, for the next three minutes he IS Joseph, then the viewers will believe him too!

He needs to show some passion now because, although there are still one or two who are totally wrong for the part, he is less prominent and needs to grab the attention of the viewers to win their votes.

I have noticed that he is never centre stage, where you would expect a leading man to be. He is always at the side or hidden at the back. Tonight when they all should have been in the same shot, during the Meatloaf number, he was off camera to the left and became invisible to the viewers yet again.

Craig doesn’t deserve to be close to, or in a sing off every week This guy will surely end up in a stage production, but for now let’s just give him a chance to be Joseph!

Too many people need to fix the colour balance on their tv's because he is not orange!

ALW will always have the final say in who goes out and judging by the faces he pulls, he knows that some of the guys getting high numbers of votes wouldn't last more than one performance in a major production. They probably wouldn't survive the rehearsals.

In most cases It's all too much like bad karaoke for me and what it should come down to, is whether they can cut it in a theatrical situation.

I like Craig as well, but he does come across as rather subdued.......I keep willing him to throw himself into the acting a little bit more, but somehow he never quite manages it.

I do agree that he would be better than some of the contestants who just don't have strong enough voices to hack it. (Ben and Lewis, take a bow!)

My least favourite is Ben, but only because of his attitude.

Second least fave is Lewis who is just too CAMP! I am well aware of the high percentage of "friends of Dorothy" that are in the theatre, but I think you need to be able to hide it a bit better. (i.e. John Barrowman!)

When he was sobbing like a baby at forgetting his words, I was completely nauseated.

Yes, I agree but don't forget he wasn't the only one sobbing, and he is only 17!!
I think he and Ben will probably go sooner rather than later. Maybe Ben has risen to the challenge a bit better than Lewis, though, in spite of his weak voice?

Yes, I can appreciate he's young but I work with 17 year olds in sixth form and I even heard some of the girls saying how pathetic he looked to be crying.. He's in a very cruel business and he and Keith and the other crier, was it Chris (?) need to buck up a bit and get some rhino skin....

I think the teenybopper vote will save Lewis far longer than the others.... He is a young girl's dream - those who are too young to interpret the campness.

Lewis and after last show I thought that Daniel was awful and was lucky to avoid the sing off.

"Tango-man" is no longer orange yippeeeeee!!!!!! & he has improved a lot, so no longer on my hit-list.
"Gums" has had his teeth done & it looks like his gums have been sorted too (like on "Extreme Makeover" where they burn them back! ) His diction is improving & he's always had one of the best voices so he's now off my list too. (I don't think either will win, as they are not right for this particular part imo but I'm sure they'll go places in the future).
My new looser is "Babyface" Ben, I just am finding him less & less likeable & more & more arrogant/smug. I had to FF most of his song last night as he makes me cringe .
"Pride comes before a fall".
