Keith works for Tesco

EDIT: OP just noticed you said 'if you were ALW' so you're not talking public votes, my mistake

In reverse order: Rob, Keith,Craig,Ben,Chris,Lewis,Daniel,Lee ?

Based on what we've heard and seen so far:

8th Ben
7th Craig
6th Chris
5th Keith
4th Rob
3rd Lewis
2nd Daniel
1st Lee

Maybe with 1 and 2 switched - I'm not quite sure!

7th: Craig - looks like he couldn't care less
6th: Chris
5th: Lewis
4th: Lee - excellent, but not really a Joseph

2nd: Ben - I'm sensing a lot of Ben hate here but I really like him

I don't hate him (he was my favourite in the first week), but it has become clear he is an average singer and there is no way he can carry 7 shows a week.

8th: Craig (coming out of his shell, but way too late now)
7th: Rob (great singer, but not a Joseph)
6th: Keith (same as Rob, will be a star, but isn't a Joseph)
5th: Ben (after last night's sing-off, got a chance of doing better)
4th: Chris (I know I'm a Chris fan, but I will be honest)
3rd: Lee (definitely final potential and no doubt a fantastic performer, but something lacks)
2nd: Daniel (again, should be in the final, but I think the votes may favour.....
1st: Lewis (has been quite consistent if you think about it, and is pulling good vocals/acting/dancing)

This will probably change, but is my honest feeling right this moment.

PS: still love Chris B though
PPS: still miss Chris C too

My thoughts exactly.

Is he? Where's he putting them then because he certainly isn't showing them?

My order would be:

8 Ben
7 Craig
6 Keith
5 Chris
4 Rob
3 Lewis
2 Daniel/Lee
1 Daniel/Lee

8th - Chris B - too camp, too many teeth and trying too hard
7th - Craig - was better in the We Will Rock You than I thought he would be, but IS too cabaret I think
6th - Keith - very odd looking - may well get cast as "Benjamin"
5th - Ben - not good enough for eight shows a week - and "faking" his smiling IMO
4th - Lewis - although I like him a lot - many I know find him annoying
3rd - Daniel - too cocky to win perhaps - although my favourite.
2nd -Rob - he shouldn't be this high - he can't act - but I fear the Bob the Builder underdog could be around for a long time.
1st - Lee - as Connie did last year - a bit bland vocally for my taste but with above average talent and a killer acting ability.

Two things I appear to have missed.

Those two are by far and away the most talented contestants left in the competition but out of the two, it is Lee who I would say is the cockiest. Daniel comes across as quite unaware and unassuming.

As for Lee's acting ability, sorry but I've yet to even spot it. I think his wooden acting and stage presence are his weaknesses. Good voice though.

Interesting how different people see different things.

I thought Lee's performance of "I don't wanna talk about it" last night was stunning. Understated - but emotional and beautifully acted. He seems a little "dull" in his VT's - but I love watching him perform. However, he just doesn't have that, dare I say it, X Factor, that Daniel has. That extra sparkle which would make him a star - but then again - neither did Connie - Aoife was the one with true star quality IMO.

For me - and obviously it's only my opinion - I think Daniel knows EXACTLY what he is doing - and is anything but unaware and unassuming. He knows how good he is - and is doing a brilliant job of playing Mr Niceguy. That's not a bad thing necessarily - some would say canny - but his disagreement with ALW in week two showed a different - slightly more cocky side to Daniel - which, I believe, is perhaps closer to his true personality. He could still win it - but he needs to keep the niceguy persona going and not let his guard slip again....

Oh, please. You wouldn't think that because he's bigging up Lee? No, of course, not

I'm not sure it was an entirely pro-Lee post to be honest....!

Of course he knows exactly what he's doing. He's clearly not an idiot and has also worked in the industry. It's interesting that you pick up on the point about him not taking direction from ALW. I'm always a bit suspicious when someone is saying something disagreeable tucked behind a smile. I know it's polite and you're hardly going to shout at someone, but I've always thought about people: "What are you really thinking behind that facade?"
