Shouldnt it be "Devolution" of the Daleks?

If they were planning a evolution, why go from bullet proof tanks, anti gravity, space flying metal monsters, to ordinary human like with no space flying, no anti gravity, no bullet proof tank?

Isnt that more like Devolution?

The Daleks evolved from Kaleds, a humanoid race, to make them almost invulnerable and with no conscience so why go back? seems that this is another example of scriptwriters not knowing what's happened in original episodes.

There's no such thing as devolution, such a concept implies evolution makes things 'better'. It doesn't. Evolution is just change in a species, any change.

Dogs have a better sense of smell then humans, dogs are therefore 'better' than humans. Are humans devolving?

They need to get the daleks back and in full strength with a leader like Davros and then i would find it mildly watchable again, the last 2 episodes have been utter crap.

I agree, the daleks have been turned into a joke.
If the BBC run programmes like the Jeremy Kyle show i'm sure by now RTD would have had the show incorporated then had them on the set breaking down or requesting a DNA test.

I'm surprised you need to ask that question if you read some of the posts in this forum.

Was there a reason Sec was black....like because he was designated leader they gave him a shiny black paintjob....

If Caan had a Dalek superior around to award him leader status, would he turn up black next too?

I actually think Khan addressed this in one of his speeches. He said that basically they couldn't survive like they had but that the human race were the great survivors and that by removing all that "stuff" that made them more human to begin with was the missing element and key to the dalek survival. i don't particularly agree with him and obviously the other daleks didn't either.

i wonder if rose killed those daleks that were frozen way back in pertwee's planet of the daleks? those could come back if not.
