Felt quite sorry for Spencer in last nights ep!

They never really made it clear but I think Spencer was put into care whilst Alfie was in prison. Even if he was in a Borstal ( though I think Young offenders institution is the correct term) that doesn't mean he is not naive he might have been led astray by his peers.

No Alfie doen't know about Kelly. All he knows is that Spencer was keen on Kelly, and Kelly liked him, I think he was trying his hand at matchmaking.

It all works out in the end though
