Don't think I can wait until next year to go again, and think Bristol or Cardiff might well be possible for a day trip, so will consider them.

Have just mailed BK's office and asked if they will tell the box offices in advance who plays Joseph and Narrator at all performances. It is unfair on people who can only go once if they miss their favourite, and it's certainly not fair on Chris if he gets a bad reception because he's not Craig

This will be multiplied now as fans of Keith will only want to see him, and the stand in narrator faces the same problem. If that is Chris as has been rumoured, can you imagine it???

Will post if I get any sort of reply, have a great time tomorrow

That's a really good idea Jean, hopefully they might come up with a way to keep everyone happy.
Just love the KJ thread atm - its as if the tour didn't exist until Keith joined it
they're all so exicted - we've been like that for months !

BB - I just love your posts! You make me smile. Can I swap places with you? Pleeeeease?

This thread is going to be 'cooking on gas' once all these reviews start to come in. Bring it on!!!

PS. I don't think the boys will get sick of you at all. In any case after Craig's Baked Beans confession, we just had to put a Craigette on the case full time to monitor his wellbeing...

Maybe if BB is seen often enough she might get offered a part on the show

Well, I did promise that I would put these up... and here they are!

Next time, I'll try to look a bit more serene! My daughter was VERY nervous.. and it shows.

Dotty,

You're a genius... brilliant idea!

Hmmm... I like your thinking but I'm not sure that Joseph has many parts for short, wide people with no ability to sing, dance or act

Wonder how they expect to get tickets, now that most of the venues are sold out! Just as well more dates are being added.

Stashy - I love your photos!! Well done . i am so glad you got to meet Craig. I love the way you said he just said "Ah Stashy" Class !!

Henry Hippo - thank you so much for the tip off about Keith on Friday - I did go and we had an amazing time - thanks
so much. My son had quite a surprise and an amazing evening and we had a chat with Keith afterwards

I had already gone down to Bath to watch Craig and thought he was good then but was even better on Friday. He has grown so much in confidence and he was wonderful.

You are right - we are getting a bit hyper on The Keith thread. We are just so glad something is here at last. we all have tickets for future shows but with those bonus ones last week it has just fuelled our excitement!!

Thanks anyway x x

Stashy, you're photos are great

I've been racking my brains all day trying to think of something intelligent to say if I see him tomorrow, but having clammed up with poor Chris the other day (who is an absolute sweetheart btw) I suspect that being even vaguely coherent might be a bit of a challenge .

Thanks for saying that Dotty, I think it's a bit of a cop out to just say "at certain performances". It must be decided early who does what and when, so why not tell the people who sell the tickets. I have just booked tickets for Chicago and Beyond, as it's near to me, and was supposed to star Lewis and Zoe Tyler, but have been told Zoe won't be performing, not sure if that's a or But at least the theatre knew in advance and told me.

Have not read the KJ thread, guess they are excited now, but they take the chance of not seeing him especially as tickets must be limited now.

Wow Stashy

They are great photos, both you and your daughter look great, very photogenic.

Was it very cold on Saturday?? Only ask as it was freezing on Thursday, but Craig didn't come out in a hat, shame he's hiding his lovely blond hair.

Three weeks later:

“Mr. Chalmers, this is Benjamin Bunny--your new masseur.”

(Oh please, let me in on the secret, gals!)

He looks so cute in that hat! Thank you for sharing those phots, Stashy. Maybe he's wearing it to keep out the cold. No more coughing and wheezing for this singing stage star! *Tosses out South Pacific grass skirts*

Do you know what we need for the holidays? Joseph dolls! Plush huggable ones! Dibs on the Craig one with blonde hair and plushie arms that stretch out to hug you.

Wow Stashy great photos - did your daughter take the one of you and Craig ?

Still think the Stage door looks a bit intimidating !

No, by the time we got there it was a beautiful Autumn afternoon. He did apologise for wearing the hat though, it was simply because he had just arrived and was about to get ready for the performance.

I'll just have to wait for the next time!

Hmmm... yes, the ten year old took the great photos, the deranged Mother took the blurry one.

(my hands must have been shaking! )

BTW, Craig was really kind when we did the photos, he guided my daughter over to his side, spoke to her, crouched down to her height and told her to smile over at the camera. I know that this sounds overly detailed, but Henry said that Craig would handle it well - and he did! He made her feel special.

I wouldn't have done the stage door had I not had everyone's support. As we've got quite a bit of 'history' now on the thread , I wasn't sure at all. I felt a bit daft...

BUT

Now having done it, I can say that it was a terrific experience - I'm still shocked at myself and glad that I came out of my comfort zone (at my age!! )

Thanks to you all for your lovely comments about the photos. (lets not mention that I maxed-out the credit card at at Boots on Friday!! )

I wish I had been able to take more, but it was tricky as I was on my own. (note to self: take OH next time as personal papparazzi)

Stashy, the photos of you and your daughter with Craig are really lovely. Thanks for sharing them with us. Your little girl's review was so cute(and really well written for a 10 year old).

Thank you!

I have to admit, I did have to edit my daughter's words... just a teeny bit...

You see there was a bit about when 'Mum went really quiet' - she was referring to the moment when the bus driver in the lane next to us in the traffic jam got out and had a fag!

I nearly lost it at that stage.

Stashy - thanks so much for sharing the photos! They are great! LOL re: the bus driver smoking...I think I would have had roadrage x 1000 if I'd saw that while stuck in traffic trying to get somewhere! (which is why I take the bus to work as I am perpetually running late....for work only, for some reason...hehehehe)

The photos are lovely Stashy. Caught them late last night. You did so well. Know exactly what you mean about the comfort zone. But you did it - now you've set the standard.

My OH happened to peer in as I sat smiling away (we are all going to the Cardiff performance in November) and stood open mouthed - then announced "You're not intending to go to the stage door are you?!!". It's part of the deal, I replied. (You can only feed them so much information at once - give them time to adjust to your new found enthusiasm for all things McJoseph - and smile inanely )

I now have to broach the subject of who is taking the photos - which we just have to get prior to the 5pm performance (just as the Rugby fans are packing up )as I can't see him agreeing to hanging around after the evening show.

See BB is doing cardiff on the Tuesday so perhaps she can give me some tips.

Good Luck to BB and Trixie for this week.
