This may not be terribly coherent but I'm sure that those who have already met Craig will understand
I spent most of the 3 hour drive down to Plymouth worrying a) whether hubby would open the tickets that were by now lying on the doormat (he didn't) and b) how to introduce myself or start a conversation with Craig.
I'd eventually decided on some sort of introduction along the lines of "I'm a friend of Stashy's"

but I had to get home and didn't really have time to stop at the stage door. I had to walk past it though to get back to the car park and Craig just happened to be outside so it would have been rude not to go over and say hello
Mentioning Stashy didn't work as well as I'd hoped though as Craig thought about it for a second and then said "You must be Benjamin Bunny"

. That threw me completely but as everyone says he just has a way of putting everyone at ease and he really is so generous with his time (even though he was dashing off for a quick rest before the evening show).
Amazingly he seems genuinely pleased to meet us all

even though he clearly does read the thread. I just came away with a stupid grin on my face and feeling really privileged to have met him. Whether or not he still manages to look pleased to see me by the end of the Bristol run remains to be seen though
Just as I thought it couldn't get any better Chris came down to say hello as well and I then floated up to the 9th floor of the car park (note to anyone going later in the week - the lift doesn't work!) and got home in record time. I think hubby is wondering why I'm still sitting here with a silly grin on my face though when I'm supposed to have been at a meeting all afternoon
