BTW, you got a laugh out of me with the "supposed to have been at a meeting all afternoon" Nice one
I have to come up with a good excuse to my work colleagues as to why I'm flying over to the UK for the third time in a year...haven't come up with one that doesn't make me sound too fangirl I think I'll have to throw them the "British Museam" and "Tower of London" crap though they aren't buying it anymore..... My work colleagues are convinced that I've completely lost the plot but are actually quite envious. I've got the day off today but they've already phoned to find out how I got on yesterday and have demanded all the details when I get in tomorrow. |

Vivienne
Good afternoon everyone
It seems the reason Vivienne left the cast early to cover Blood Brothers was due to tragedy rather than illness. The husband of Linda Nolan (who was playing Mrs. Johnstone) passed away last Thursday. Am sure we all extend our sympathies to Linda and family. Would like to wish Good Luck to Vivienne in the role, not that she needs it, as those who saw her as narrator, know what a superb singer she is. Well done BB on meeting Craig at last, thought that you would like him It seems he knows you already, so by the time Bristol is over, you should be on his Christmas card list![]() Jean |

I echo Jean's thoughts to the family of Linda Nolan. Its very clear now how difficult it must have been at the end of last week with all the changes. Best wishes to Vivienne as she takes on the role. |

My advice - just tell them

Otherwise, there is a fabulous new exhibition in London - China's Terracotta Army at The British Museum - apparently it is spectacular. They might buy that one.

I agree - telling them is great advice - if only just to see their reaction! (Or perhaps that's just my sense of humour.

They know I've had a membership at VAG for years and they would find it mostly plausible and its not like it would be incorrect, just not completely the truth! I should throw in the British Museum too, thanks Stashy ![]() Its nice they called to see how your day was BB! |

This may not be terribly coherent but I'm sure that those who have already met Craig will understand
![]() I spent most of the 3 hour drive down to Plymouth worrying a) whether hubby would open the tickets that were by now lying on the doormat (he didn't) and b) how to introduce myself or start a conversation with Craig. I'd eventually decided on some sort of introduction along the lines of "I'm a friend of Stashy's" but I had to get home and didn't really have time to stop at the stage door. I had to walk past it though to get back to the car park and Craig just happened to be outside so it would have been rude not to go over and say hello ![]() Mentioning Stashy didn't work as well as I'd hoped though as Craig thought about it for a second and then said "You must be Benjamin Bunny" . That threw me completely but as everyone says he just has a way of putting everyone at ease and he really is so generous with his time (even though he was dashing off for a quick rest before the evening show).Amazingly he seems genuinely pleased to meet us all even though he clearly does read the thread. I just came away with a stupid grin on my face and feeling really privileged to have met him. Whether or not he still manages to look pleased to see me by the end of the Bristol run remains to be seen though Just as I thought it couldn't get any better Chris came down to say hello as well and I then floated up to the 9th floor of the car park (note to anyone going later in the week - the lift doesn't work!) and got home in record time. I think hubby is wondering why I'm still sitting here with a silly grin on my face though when I'm supposed to have been at a meeting all afternoon ![]() Thats wonderful for you BB ! The Boss was expecting you then Thrilled that you got to meet him and Chris, what a lovely bonus. Cheers for the tip about the car-park - thats handy to know. But I'm travelling by train so I only have to worry about getting a taxi in from the station. We're being collected afterwards by my brother-in-law, so I hope he brings a good book to while away the hours while we try and say hello to Craig. Theres so many people there we may have to crawl our way through a sea of legs on hands and knees to get there lol. |

I hope you have a fantastic time Trixie.
I guess one of the advantages of matinees is that there tend not to be so many people at the stage door. There were only a handful of us there yesterday which was a good job as he was trying to dash off. I felt really guilty delaying him but he was just so nice about it. |

Do Chris and Craig know how many shows you will be seeing? Was the total number mentioned? ![]() I suspect Chris hasn't read any of this and doesn't have a clue who I am. I dread to think what he'd think if he realised that he's the main reason I'm going to see this damn show so many times - which reminds me, I need to add the Saturday night in Bristol to the list. The opportunity of seeing Craig twice and Chris doing 3 different roles in one day is just too good to miss ![]() That's it now though. I fessed up to hubby about the 3 shows on the Saturday and he went very, very quiet, then turned a funny shade of puce and then went kind of ballistic . I think I might keep quiet about the rest until nearer the time .

Either Craig hadn't read that far or, more likely, he was just too polite to mention it

She impressed many with her voice and no doubt she will be doing the same in Blood Brothers

Hi everyone, I have been enjoying your thread over the past few weeks, and have decided you join you if I may. Last Saturday I was lucky enough to obtain a ticket to see Joseph at the Wycombe Swan, I thought it was brilliant and Craig and Chris were just fab. I confess after all these years to not knowing the whole story about Joseph, but believe me I wasn't disappointed. I was lucky enough to meet Craig after the show by the stage door and have my photo taken with him!! So glad I made the effort to go, my parents live only a few miles away, but I live 80 miles away in Lymington!!

Welcome to Craig's Thread - so pleased you have come in to join us!! I saw the afternoon performance at High Wycombe so you must have seen one of the later shows. So pleased to hear that you met Craig too. Great to have you here!

Hi Stashy, many thanks for your reply.
Can you help me, I am sure I read somewhere that the tour may be extended after the first 16 weeks, if so do you know where I can find the details? And yes it was the evening performance I went to, it was jam packed!!

Hi guys
I have only just found this site and have just wasted hours trying to catch up with you all!! We are obviously like-minded gals (and guys?). Trouble is, I couldnt decide which thread to post in first.... as my two daughters and I are such big fans of most of the Joseph guys!! We went to see Lee in July and in fact have front row tickets for the Children In Need performance in November!! Then in August we went to see the Tuesday performance of the Tour at Bromley, not expecting to be quite so blown away, but WOW!! The feeling of total happiness during the finale and standing ovations and then listening to Craig's heart-felt speech at the end couldnt be topped... or could it? See the tour thread for more details..... ![]() I felt I had to post in Craig's thread first, but boy oh boy Chris - fell in love with you too!! See Chris's thread for details... ![]() Anyways - cant wait to see if the Tour will be coming back to the South East - please please come to Bromley or Croydon - I just NEEEEEED to see it again, but due to work commitments cant possibly make any of the remaining locations. See ya in The Tour Thread for more...... ![]() ![]() ![]() Craig, you were gorgeous. Hope to see you again soon.... |
