****I already posted this on another thread, but its relevant
![]() "I think Daniel was booted out because he wasn't the people's Joseph. It did strike me as odd though, because ALW stated afterwards it was the 'acting' on Lewis's part that pinched it. Um, didn't Denise say Daniel was the best? He ain't taking any notice of the other judges it seems. I don't know about this JB 'storming out' rumour, but I know they must be very attached to the boys by now and it appears that Daniel was well liked. Maybe its personal upset and not a professional injustice in his mind? I reckon ALW will want to 'discover' a new talent anyway. Lee is ready established, and forgive me, but he's too good to be Joseph singing "Any Dream Will Do." This is a poppy musical ingrained on our brains since childhood. I really think its 'if the face fits' and sadly for Daniel, it didn't. Lee doesn't fit in my box of ingredients either. He's too 'dark' (and I'm not talking about his hair lol) and will make THE best Phantom 2 <hint hint ALW >The gbp may well repeat history and go for the nearest thing to Jason Donovan, as they did last year choosing the closest thing to Julie Andrews = Connie Things should be looking good for Craig then ! He's showing the most vocal consistency (mega, mega important) and he has a habit of making people feel such warmth and happiness he's becoming difficult to dislike. He's definitely right up there. And I don't take any notice of the bookies - they got it so wrong last week didn't they !" They've been wrong a few times actually... I btw have a betting slip with a £5 WIN on Craig at 33/1. Nice little sum to blow on a west end show called Joseph and an overnight stay eh \o/ |

Craig has had a remarkable journey so far, he looks so much more confident and at ease with himself now, he looks so much better without all that dreadful spray tan, his voice has improved immensely and i sincerely believe Craig could well be the dark hosre of this competition and win it. The public ALW and the judges believe in him, he now has to believe in himself.

Hello ladies
![]() Thanks for your wishes to Craig (and he DOES read them !!!!!! Found out today - all in a dither I am! ) >>>Fluffs up hair and slicks the lippy on ![]() Welcome to DS Mrs Moncs A pleasure to have you in Craigs camp. And he'll do you proud, don't you fret. And Keith. Little star in the making that one. Russell Watson should be worried because this boy is going to be huge when his voice grows and matures. I think Keith's voice is only being half used in this show actually. He has the potential to be an operatic wonder, but his voice is sitting bang in the middle. Probably because of the songs. Zoe (again) sort it out. You wait when he does "Close every door...." I can hear the gasps now. Not Joseph though is he? Nah. But we love him cos he's a cutie ![]() I agree entirely with your post stargirl2 ![]() Every week he gets better - and now his skin tone resembles that of a real human, dare I say he is actually rather dishy underneath all that I would imagine his confidence is at its highest point so far. He beat Daniel. and what a shocker ! But, nevertheless, he did. Noone would have betted on that would they Goes to show what we are saying is absolutely true. People are loving Craig. He IS the people's Joseph. He does no wrong except to himself. Keep going braveheart, the finish is nigh and if these visions I get of you winning are not real? I will get my head looked at. Again.

He was *hit scared in the first few weeks, yes he was. But he conquered And now after a week of soaking up the ways of the mighty Lee and Daniel, Craigs confidence will be soaring. Hope he gets a quality song to really show himself off.Last week was very admirable. Who on earth can do a Michael Jackson song and pull it off Vocally yet again, really good. And he showed energy and personality. I loved him grabbing the stair rails - and the first one almost goes over. Was sure he was going to go straight through, and give the lady on the front row the biggest shock of her life, when a Joseph suddenly dived and landed straight in her lap I have dreams like that lol.Not long until Saturday... Son will be at cub scout camp and wants me to vote - He wanted Lewis, but now he knows Craig was a scout he wants Craig to win now. Good lad he is

It is becoming obvious that for some, the part of Joseph is not the be all and end all. I can only imagine Craig in the part, and 4 months rehearsal will be more than enough time to mould him into the final article. With the speed he improves every week, what is he going to be like after even a couple of months intense rehearsal? They will all have careers in theatre and Trixiehobbit has already suggested a good role for Lee. I'm sure that producers and writers are already working on ideas, and new shows could already be at the planning stage. This is not about getting a career for your favourite contestant, it's about picking the correct one for the role and I have been unable to envisage anyone other than Craig in the coat!

Hi Craig fans.
I'm new to this site and also a fairly recent convert to ADWD and I am rooting for Craig. He still seems very nervous but once he starts performing the nerves go and there is something about him that is very watchable. He also has a lovely voice and really shows the emotion of the song - This is the moment was ace. Some of the others Josephs I think would be boring for a whole show but not Craig. I will miss saturday's show but will have everything crossed for him! |

A belated good morning campers
Son is getting ready for the off later - I'm dabbling with the idea of sending him to cub camp with a blow up dinghy for the rain. Poor kids ! 600little cub scouts gonna get washed down the field this weekend if the forecast is right lol. Shame they won't allow filming pmslHey bigspender ! Welcome to DS and how proud are we you chose Craigs thread first. You have exquisite taste Craig fans, have a look at the BBC podcast from Zoe this week: http://www.bbc.co.uk/joseph/ Apparently Craigs problem is....... ...... he licks his lips too much. And that's basically it ! Nearly rolled off the sofa laughing when I saw how she was suggesting Lee be happier, Keith be more intense, Ben be more vulnerable, Lewis to be more colourful - and Craig to carry on doing what he's doing (without the lip-licking ) Speaks volumes to me. Henry you know I agree - I cannot see any other man there as Joseph. Its his destiny. I read the teabags this morning ![]() Right, no more time to chat now but I will later on. Happy thoughts all xx |

Good lad he is ![]() ![]() I had to re-read it - at first, I thought you were calling Craig 'a good fairy'! ![]() Wishing Craig good luck for tomorrow - I nearly had a nervous breakdown, as I thought I was going to miss the show, as I'm going to see Pirates of the Caribbean tomorrow afternoon, and it's a 3 and a half hour long film. But I should hopefully be home in time for Any Dream will Do, as the film is scheduled to start at 3pm, so I really shouldn't worry! I wil try to enjoy the film and not spend it worrying about Craig and Lewis (but especially Lewis this week )Good luck to both of them!

I personally am not sure that craig is ready to play a lead role yet, but, he does seem like a lovely lad, and seems to really work hard and is using this experience to learn as much as he can. I have loads of respect for him. I hope he goes far with his career and has his hard work and good attitude pay off.

I've just read a link to an interview with Daniel and he had positive things to say about Craig - but he did say that Craig had never had any singing lessons !! and that his voice had improved amazingly

i heard elvis singing it on the radio this afternoon
such a great song....and the choir were incredible! here are the words - We're caught in a trap I can't walk out Because I love you too much baby Why can't you see What you're doing to me When you don't believe a word I say? We can't go on together With suspicious minds And we can't build our dreams On suspicious minds So, if an old friend I know Drops by to say hello Would I still see suspicion in your eyes? Here we go again Asking where I've been You can't see these tears are real I'm crying We can't go on together With suspicious minds And we can't build our dreams On suspicious minds Oh let our love survive Or dry the tears from your eyes Let's don't let a good thing die When honey, you know I've never lied to you Mmm yeah, yeah i'm hoping craig's is a tender, sweet version. he has to put together everything he has learned in the last few weeks, and must avoid the awful karaoke mistakes on youtube, by robbie williams and gareth gates (to name two culprits!) craig has an opportunity to perform an outstanding version, he has a wonderful live band and an intimate studio setting. seize the moment, sing from the heart and wow the judges! |
