Looks as though they are revamping it, but why so long? Suspect it will be fully interactive and accessible to existing and new fans. But what about those photos of Craig from the show? When are we going to be able to see them? They've got them at the theatres... why not on Craig's site yet? Pleeeeeaaase? ”

Same response that I got Stashy.

Weren't the photos of Craig and the cast wonderful at the theatres?! Wish I'd have taken pics of them now

The one with him and the camel !! Brilliant

Must say I only glanced at them as I was sooo late when I arrived and nervously inching my way to the Stage Door at the end.

But, there was one which caught my eye...

The end of the CED scene... in the loincloth!!

I got that response as well, so that's a hat trick for us

I wonder if any of our mails will be deemed "appropriate" to reply to

Hello BB

Think photos at High Wycombe must have been put there on the Saturday, (or perhaps Friday), I didn't see any and I had lunch in the theatre, and must have walked through the foyer at least four times. Either that, or my eyesight is failing in my advanced years

Hi,

I was there on the Saturday afternoon, so perhaps they were very new at that stage. I only saw them fleetingly and thought they should have them on Craig's website - they looked fab!

Mmmm Jean,

I thought that too! Somehow I feel that 'appropriate' is not the best way to describe the nature of this thread sometimes.

Ooh I had a good ogle (especially at the CED one ) And they should be on his site - but he'll have to ask Bill Kenwright nicely I guess.

That's alright then. I know I had other things on my mind at that point but I can't believe I wouldn't have noticed them. I didn't spot any at Plymouth either

Something to look forward to then bb They were there, just opposite where they were selling merchandise.

Craigettes - just to advise that I've asked DS to alter this thread title to read 'Craig Chalmers Appreciation Thread' - as I feel its time time to ditch the ADWD now

Looking from the front page it looks as though the thread is about the TV show, and we all know that Craig has moved upwards and onwards since then

Just had a look and I like it. Good idea and good time to do it, Trixie.

We look all grown up now!

As I type this e-mail, I have just finished a Thursday matinee show in Derry and the audience consisted of mostly schoolgirls. The last time I heard noise like that was when all of the Josephs went to a Mcfly concert, it was crazy!!!

Derry is lovely and the people here are so friendly, they really can't do enough for you. I'm staying in a nice hotel this week so I'm feeling very relaxed.

I am not the greatest fan of flying, although since ADWD I have been on planes loads, so I'm a lot better nowadays. However Derry airport is very small and the runway is very small and right next to the sea, so there was a moment when i was convinced we were going to crash into the water because I looked out my window just before we landed and all I could see was water and we were only about 10 feet from sea level!!!!!! Cue Craigs heart nearly jumping out his chest........

Tonight I am taking the cast and crew out for a meal to say thank you to them for all their hard work and dedication to making the show so fantastic. I've chosen a lovely Italian place who are keeping the whole upstairs free for us and staying open late so I'm Looking forward to it.

Although you all know that I am abstaining from alcohol, I could not come to Ireland and not have a Guiness!!! I must say the taste is less bitter and more smooth....lovely!

I also really enjoyed Plymouth last week. I was in a lovely bed and breakfast and the theatre was great and I got to meet the lovely Trixie. I would just like to again extend my thanks and gratitude to you for the belief and support you have shown me since day one.

I'm doing a t.v interview next week for an irish morning show, I think its the equivelant of GMTV.

I am feeling very good and physically and vocally strong. Bill is constantly in touch with me, as ever. The man is a great, great mentor and friend to me. He took me to the Everton game last week and let me drive his BRAND NEW Mercedes S-class all the way home from Newcastle to London, how cool is that!?

Anyway, I'd better get ready for the performance tonight.

Love Craig xxx

What an upbeat update from Craig. Full of confidence - that's one happy young man, and so he should be. I'm really pleased for him. He sounds on top of the world!!

Had a giggle about the car - that trumps everything else he's done recently!

GO GO GO McJoseph!

Thanks Henry for posting it for us.

Hi All

I'm new to the site - only found it on Monday night and had to register.

I saw Joseph here in Derry on Monday night and it was an amazing experience! Craig was fantastic, as were all the cast. I hung around after the show and was rewarded with meeting Craig! I managed to get his autograph too! I've booked again for the 2.00 pm matinee on Saturday (couldn't get tickets for the final show on Saturday night) I hope Craig is playing the lead again.

I'm delighted to find the site - I was hunting for somewhere to leave comments on Monday night after the show. I can take time now to go back and read all your comments.

Thanks Henry for passing on Craig's October update. How lucky are we to get a monthly memo.
Looks as if Craig is continuing to have a great time. (School registers must have been a bit depleted today - they'll all have to keep their posters well hidden tomorrow.)

Hope Craig, cast and crew have a great time tonight.

Lovely mention for Trixie.
And Mr Kenwright - what a star - VIP football and VIP car.

Thank you to Craig for taking the time to give us such a great account of the latest episode in touring life.
(Logistics of the touring life - how does he fit it all in - flying, football, fast cars, frenzied fans? I'd have trouble just getting my case packed every week )

Hi
this is my first post on the Craig Chalmers thread

I would just like to say thankyou to Craig and HH for keeping us up to date on how Craig is getting on with the tour.
Its great to hear his views and it's wonderful that he takes time out of an obviously busy schedule to keep in touch.

Welcome aboard Mandy,
You've joined at a great time. Craig appears to be having a ball as MobileJo, as you'll see from the just posted October tour update. (There is an earlier one which you will come across if you go further back.)

What a lucky girl you are - seen the show and met Craig and a second show to go to. Some of us have seen Craig perform, some of us have seen Chris as Joseph (some of us rather more than others), some of us still have the pleasure to come. There is also a Tour News and Review site, but I will let Trixie take you there, if you haven't found it already.
Did you find the link to here in your programme. Craig's website is really rather special isn't it. We're just hoping for some more pictures in the near future.
Enjoy

Well, only left the thread a few hours ago, and so much has happened in that time. Welcome to Mandy from me. Thanks also to Craig for that lovely update, nice to know all is going well, and thanks to Henry for posting it

A good change of thread title by Trixie, as she said Craig has progressed way beyond ADWD now, and think this thread will be carrying on for many years to come.

Was so pleased BB didn't see the photos that Stashy did at High Wycombe, my mind was also on other things, always suss out the stage door pre-performance, but thought even I couldn't have missed photos of the cast. Having said that looks like I won't see them for quite a while at least you should see them soon BB After all the performances you'll see in Bristol, they should really give them to you

Thanks for the update Henry! And thanks to Craig for keeping us updated on your tour, I'm glad you are enjoying it so (slight hint on the car you want now eh )

Oh, and I know about the anxious flying thing....yet I some how keep getting on planes for 10 hour flights to the UK, must be something great drawing me there!

Hi Mandy,

I'm so pleased you found us and decided to join. I think you may be the first Craigette signing in from you area! Welcome to the thread.

You're so lucky to be able to go back and see the show again. Do let us know how it goes at the weekend.

So that would be Craig leading the cast and crew - just as John B said a leading man had to do !

Dotty,

That's spooky!! I was just having similar thoughts, came through to post something, refreshed the page... well said Dotty!!

You can really see a different person emerging now - a leading man.
