Dotty,

Single figures now. How are the 'reasons for going to Dublin' coming along?

badly !
10 yr old is telling everyone we are going to see Craig - not a show just Craig - cue lots of explanations to who this is

so its a weekend away - and one of the things we are doing is seeing a show while we are there - honest

So his name's not mentioned much in your house then?

Its the way its said with much rolling of the eyes

she thinks she's Hanna Montana I'm going to have to tape her mouth shut - dread to think what she will say on the night - cause one thing she's not is shy

ROFL!!

If its any consolation... when the moment came to meet Craig, my daughter (normally a blabbermouth) suddenly became the shyest girl on the planet and I had to give her a not-so-gentle 'shove' to get her to move forward. First time ever I've been a pushy mother! (honest!)

Maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised when the time comes.

Derry is lovely and the people here are so friendly, they really can't do enough for you. I'm staying in a nice hotel this week so I'm feeling very relaxed.

I am not the greatest fan of flying, although since ADWD I have been on planes loads, so I'm a lot better nowadays. However Derry airport is very small and the runway is very small and right next to the sea, so there was a moment when i was convinced we were going to crash into the water because I looked out my window just before we landed and all I could see was water and we were only about 10 feet from sea level!!!!!! Cue Craigs heart nearly jumping out his chest........

Tonight I am taking the cast and crew out for a meal to say thank you to them for all their hard work and dedication to making the show so fantastic. I've chosen a lovely Italian place who are keeping the whole upstairs free for us and staying open late so I'm Looking forward to it.

Although you all know that I am abstaining from alcohol, I could not come to Ireland and not have a Guiness!!! I must say the taste is less bitter and more smooth....lovely!

I also really enjoyed Plymouth last week. I was in a lovely bed and breakfast and the theatre was great and I got to meet the lovely Trixie. I would just like to again extend my thanks and gratitude to you for the belief and support you have shown me since day one.

I'm doing a t.v interview next week for an irish morning show, I think its the equivelant of GMTV.

I am feeling very good and physically and vocally strong. Bill is constantly in touch with me, as ever. The man is a great, great mentor and friend to me. He took me to the Everton game last week and let me drive his BRAND NEW Mercedes S-class all the way home from Newcastle to London, how cool is that!?

Anyway, I'd better get ready for the performance tonight.

Love Craig xxx”

Oh wow ! I got a mention from the Boss ! Girls, can you feel the heat from my blushing cheeks ?? Aw, that's really special that is. I am very touched !

Craig if you're reading.....Cheering you on and supporting you all the way has been an absolute pleasure - especially when your other fans here are as daft as I am over your voice! (and the rest of you ain't bad either ) The Craigettes are thrilled for you and we're loving seeing you on the stage just where you belong

Henry, thank you so much for posting this blog What do you think about Craig driving Bills motor eh? He has such faith in the Mobile one doesn't he !

I saw Joseph here in Derry on Monday night and it was an amazing experience! Craig was fantastic, as were all the cast. I hung around after the show and was rewarded with meeting Craig! I managed to get his autograph too! I've booked again for the 2.00 pm matinee on Saturday (couldn't get tickets for the final show on Saturday night) I hope Craig is playing the lead again.

I'm delighted to find the site - I was hunting for somewhere to leave comments on Monday night after the show. I can take time now to go back and read all your comments.

Hiya Mandy and welcome, glad you found us So great you have seen the show and you also got the pleasure of meeting Craig too! I agree with you - it is an amazing experience. Such a group of talent on that stage isn't there

Trixie,

Remember this, your very first post? "Well, he hasn't been granted his own thread yet and as he's managed to get this far, imo he has earned one "

Well,, IMO, you've earned your special mention. You've been steadfast for all these months, together with Dotty and Henry.

Raise a glass to everyone on the thread *cheers!* - Craig's a star and I think he's starting to believe it himself.

thanks for the welcome everyone.

the atmosphere on the night was electric - the audience were on their feet from Any Dream Will Do, through the Megamix, a brief sit down for the 2nd Close Every Door and up on their feet again. I loved the way Craig spoke at the end about their experience of the TV show it gave the audience to show their appreciation properly for the 3 of them and Wayne.

Welcome Mandy, great to have you on board.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the show and were lucky enough to meet Craig. Hope you have a fantastic time on Saturday whoever is playing Joseph that day. They're all a really talented bunch so you're guaranteed a good show whoever you get to see .

Look forward to hearing all about it.

Its only been hard work making sure that I don't burn things on the cooker... forget to go to work... not letting the kids go on the computer because I've had important 'work emails... forgetting to pick them up from school etc....!

From the very beginning, Craig showed courage, and that's one of the things I've admired most about him. He didn't shy away from the judges comments, but built on them and delivered what many people thought was impossible - sell out shows - nationwide!!

Wasn't the atmosphere wonderful ! Claptastic i called it lol

Red raw my little paws were at the end but everyone left smiling and on a high - and thats a good night out in my book. Nice touch to have all the guys mentioned by Craig at the end isn't it. All the cast were tops ! No weak links anywhere - except a few of the Craigettes would probably sack Mrs Potiphar and take her place Not I of course ! I'm a good girl I am (getting into practice for the Eliza Doolittle auditions there lol)

He never complained did he ! While others tortured themselves and chucked their dummies out their prams, Craig quietly accepted the judges decisions and made a mission out of meeting their demands. He had them all loving him in the end - even the Ice Maiden! She was a hard nut to crack wasn't she. Remember this? When Craig got one over her - no, not his leg you strumpets

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qj3tZ0_457U

Craig is at 1.40 (ish)

Lee made me laugh too
