This is one of my favourite Elvis songs - you can put a lot of angst and emotion into this.

I have a feeling his girl, Sarah, will be on his mind x They're used to being apart, but as the poor guy ain't been home for 7 weeks, nearly 8 now, he must have some pretty intense feelings going on in his mind. Its probably relevant to a few discussions they must have had before, considering his job as singer to the strippers! I'm sure he's going to be absolutely knockout and the judges will be begging us to keep him in this week

Wonder if Zoe's jaw is off the floor yet after being "really really shocked" at Craigs fab performance last week.
She's had him doing mirror work this week, so he will be looking delicious I'm sure. I've noticed that he always gets comments like that - better than rehearsal - that would be cause he performs when he supposed to - on the night !! |

Been watching some of the old ADWD's
![]() omg, the man we saw in the first couple of weeks doesn't even sound like Craig anymore ! Seriously, its just amaaazing how his voice is changing. Compare 'Signed Sealed Delivered' to Black & White Compare 'Home' to 'This is the Moment' Like two different people !

(I'll have a good listen and let you know) I am sooo sad (nay, gutted beyond belief) to be missing my mini hero Fran Healy (Travis, as if you didn't know lol) who's playing Plymouth tomorrow. Because my lads at camp it's a bit too far to travel if we get needed for any reason. Tonight's song
I'm hoping for an intimate setting, with tight camera work on this one, to cancel out Lee's performance on the Rod Stewart number a few weeks ago.
This is what theatre is all about, to draw the audience in and make us forget everything else for that moment. Something to make the hair stand up on the back up your neck and press the emotion button. Craig now knows how to do this, so turn the sound up, dim the lights and relax. The time is approaching! |

Did anyone get the Daily Mail today? In the TV guide the Josephs are on the front page, and there's a mini interview with each of them inside, and the opinion of 3 previous 'Josephs' - Jason Donovan, Stephen Gately and Ian "H" Watkins. Craig is suprisingly open about his stripping past, which suprised me. The opinion of the previous Joseph's wasn't too bad, but I guess they could have been nicer.

OK...... Jason Donovan, the original........But Steven Gately?......H? What happened to Donny? FYI I am dragging my Missus along to see Donny later this year, boy did that get me in her good books! Now that Guy is in a class of his own, although I did find him a bit too laid back in the Joseph songs I've heard him do.

I've been reading this thread now for the last few days and just had to register and post a reply.
I am a HUGE Craig fan. Huge, Huge, Huge. It all started back in his Pop Idol days when I saw something in him that screamed TALENT!!! I recognised him straight away on ADWD and have been rooting for him from the start. I am driving my family crazy and have got them all voting for him. This boy is an amazing singer and is extremely professional. I want him to win! Out of all the other contestants (with the exception of Lee) Craig's voice never fails him and he never ever sounds out of breath and he has never hit a flat note. He works really hard and deserves to be where he is now and it really get on my nerves when shallow people put him down for his looks. This is about talent and people need to look closely and see that something special in him that we can see. Anyway, I do also think he is a babe but there is more to him than that. What I also can't understand is what people see in Ben, although my teenage daughter thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread (his looks of course). Now don't get me wrong, he has improved immensely but he appears very arrogant and cocky and is so unfit. If you listen to him when he is doing a fast number he is always out of breath. Craig never falters and doesn't even realise just how good he is, and this is one of his many endearing qualities. Although I really want Craig to win, I do think Lee will win it and, much as I hate to admit it, he is really good, but Craig will be even better in a few weeks time. I don't care what the judges say, he will be ready to play Joseph. I have been to the theatre 6 times to see this production so I think that gives me good insight into who I think should play Joseph and CRAIG IS MY JOSEPH! Just one last thing, I'm really nervous for him tonight (as I am every week), and I am dreading the results as I think he will be in the sing off with Lewis. What I don't know though, is who ALW will save if he is. omg the tension. Do it like you did last week Craig, and feel it like you did when you sang TITM and you can hold your head high(btw I as crying that night it was sooo emotional). GOOD LUCK CRAIG! |
