I've been voting for Craig every week.

Joseph is my favourite musical and I would love to see Craig on stage playing the role.

He showed the others up on the set of Les Miserables.

I've gone all warm and fuzzy. Thanks posters for adding to the thread. It great to see others have noticed Craig's general damn niceness and are willing him on too.

His voice is beautiful - he has almost near perfect tone, and that's possibly the reason Zoe has always rated him. I do believe that Craig got off to a bad start on the first show (or was it the second? can't recall off hand) when Daniel commented that Craig was the weakest vocally - and that must have stuck in people's heads. Because I think he's proved he's not the weakest - just taught to perform as a singer and not a theatrical artiste.

But my word this guy is learning fast. I really look forward to his performances and every week he has improved. He's there with the vocals, almost there with the acting and just needs a dance routine and a showstopper of a tune to show what he's made of. Let's hope the rest of the gbp see he's worth voting for, as he is definitely a candidate for Joseph to me

Very well said Henry Hippo. I agree. Sad news about the stripping though. Hey ho. Still, I have greater respect for him knowing that he's kept things covered. We'll just have to imagine then
I'm pretty sure Daniel said Ben was the weakest vocally, (hard to argue with that), not Craig.

I quite like Craig too, just wish he could really go for it when he is singing.........do you think it's just nerves that are stopping him?

I think its the poor songs he's had Italiangirl. So far all but one have been golden oldies, overrused already on the karaoke scene. We know he needs a show tune - hope they will bloomin give him one this week

Found this btw:-

(The title gives a clue what it says lol.) He's definitely rooting for the Scots! I should be cross really, as I'm not not one, but I not complaining

******LINK not functioning properly - article can be found at Unreality TV in the ADWD section. John Barrowman tips Craig or Keith for Joseph....

Well Trixie, you seem to have got your wish about a show tune. I thought when I first heard ALW say he was looking for a Justin Timberlake, "Yeah but he'll still have to sound like Michael Ball"! Well Guess what? Craig is doing Michael Ball's 'This is the Moment' this week!

He has to think 'Freddy Merury' and use bigger theatrical gestures, as anything below chest level is pathetic or apologetic. Show some true passion and emotion and sing to win!

He will never get a better chance to show the doubters that he can cut it in musical theatre.

For 3 minutes on Saturday night the stage will be his. He must take control of the audience and prove that this is his destiny. This is the moment!

O M G WOWEEEE!!!!

Oh thank you Henry hippo for the news !

Wow wow wow. That's all can think. What an absolute belter ! This is a dream come true for Craig supporters I had best buy an extra box of Kleenex for Saturday because if anyone is going to literally 'feel' the song, it must be Craig with this one. I shall be hoping this is the moment where he reveals what he can do He'll be thrilled I'm sure, after being disappointed with his song last week.

I am absolutey gobsmacked that Craig has been given this song. It's fantastic

i am hooked by the format i've been watching joseph since it started but could not form an opinion on any of the finalists. imo none of them were joseph. on saturday keith and craig stood out by a mile. my ideal joseph would be a cross between those two. craig has not really captured the public's imagination, and has had to rely on andrew lloyd webber to save him more than once. on saturday i finally warmed to craig. he has a beautiful voice. craig and keith are the only josephs i could sit and listen for two hours..

Yay! Craig stars as McJoseph on Youtube Thanks thms xx

I wish the gbp thought like you I do
I see it.
You see it.
ALW saw it when he duetted with Chris B - Amen to that.

He got a masssive cheer when he was saved; so maybe jointly winning the barricade task and showing a new kind of strength he might sway the floating voters?

Craig's face spoke volumes to me on Saturday night singing "The Long and Winding Road" There were some very moving, tender expressions and Wow, the camera loves him in close-up! He sang it beautifully and that was the moment I thought - it IS you - you Are Joseph !! lol. Hope he's going to give everyone a shock tomorrow. He's got nothing to lose and everything to gain by thinking "Well F you lot - I'm bl@@dy enjoying myself here anyway!" and let 'em have it. Just please i hope he doesn't go more 'into himself' like Chris B did and underperform. He won't though. He'll do it and he'll do it good won't he

OMG Travis on Jools Holland ! I'll be in heaven for a few minutes if you need me

Yes, and this is something the Craig-bashers are overlooking (I used to be one of them, until I saw this piece!) - it's very important. The Les Mis guys were knocked out by his stamina, his acting and his singing - none of which we have yet seen to his advantage in the main show. The way he sang in that test was outstanding, and I've never heard his voice so strong! (So I ask myself, why doesn't he sing like this in the main show? He still needs to peel another layer off himself and give a bit more - ALW keeps asking for it, so it's not like he doesn't know.) Craig gets a little bit better on the show each week, but I just hope he's going fast enough and isn't going to get overtaken by the others. However, I think ALW is seeing something in him, and is trying to hang onto him for a bit longer - it's all up to Craig himself now.

Haha, my OH would agree with you there (I'm not allowed to wear any shoes that show toes or heels when I'm out with him, 'cos he hates feet so much, lol! ).

Pass the Kleenex Trixie, not a dry eye in the house! Best performance of the night, followed by Keith. What did I tell you?

Now Craig and Keith need to get down and dirty, not with each other though!

Bit cruel to keep Craig waiting again after that performance.

Just wanted to pop in and say how well Craig did tonight. i thought that was extremely cruel keeping him hanging on there thinking he wa sin the sing off- not nice.

I don't think people realise how little training Craig has had compared to the other lads (except Rob). He really is going for it. Well done

At last - GO CRAIG!! (And why not with each other - now that would be worth watching, hehe!! Although I think the only pair out of this lot who would have got down and dirty with each other are Lewis and Chris B, lol! )

Finally !!
Well done Craig - That was awsome

and I think its dawning on people how little training he has had in musical theatre compared to all the others.

What a brilliant decision to let him sing on his own (not in a group of two) really made the performance stand out.
