That was quite an emotional performance he gave on ADWD.
Having seen him sing it live though, I was struck by the way he took the song and made it his own. Singing it at The Palladium must be one of his all-time best moments. (and mine.

Talking of TITM, I love the way it starts quite gently and builds up to being a very strong determined statement!
I like it that the ADWD performance was very emotional and it seemed to spur him on.
He must love all the reactions that we still have to the way he performed it then. That performance is responsible for getting a lot of us involved.
The CD version, although slightly less emotional, is easier to cope with on a day to day basis. It's great fun remembering all his expressions during that. I walk across the park on the way to work and I often listen to it, just about manage not to sing out loud!
And then the Palladium performance was different again. For one thing he was holding a mic so couldn't do the same with his arms. Wish there was a dvd available of that performance!

He has indeed 'made it his own' Stashy.
Well, that's my 200 then.

I've found him !! Remember Criag? The one who stands in for Craig? Found him sunning himself on a tropical beach
