A lot of the songs used in the song did not get the credit of their original performers. Maybe it was a mistake made by the website people. Maybe Keith just mentioned "You raise me up" and stupid people added Westlife to that.

Yes, that's possible.

What confuses me - and I'm NOT having a go- is that while Keith claimed to be a huge Josh Groban fan, the biog of him on the BBC Joseph site listed "WESTLIFE'S You Raise Me Up" as his favourite song. Surely A Josh Groban fan would never give that as his favourite number. So was Keith (perhaps under editorial orders) exaggerating his Josh Groban fanship to make more heart-rending TV? Who knows?
Josh recorded it in 2003, Westlife recorded it in 2005.

As far as I know, Keith has always been a huge JG fan - his sister will confirm that on Keith thread, if you'd like to find out for sure (Scotchicky she is) Seems to me they need a new typist at the Beeb !!

The original version was sung by Brian Kennedy in 2001 and he also sang it at George Best's funeral. I reckon that was the definitive performance of that song. It had the poignancy of TITM as sung by Craig.

Just read that Craig will be appearing at the Almondvale shopping centre in Livingston this evening. Not sure if it will just be autograph signing or if he will sing as well.

He'll have to get used to this kind of life style - and it can only get bigger and better
Went along with my 10 year old daughter to see Craig last night. What a really lovely guy he is. He signed a photo and then spoke to each person for as long as they wanted. He then posed for photos and did not mind when my camera played up and taking photo took ages. he joked and laughed. I was on cloud nine for the rest of the night!

Home, black or white, signed sealed delivered, TITM...

found one taken from the first shows -

any dream will do - you could be Joseph

where they tell them if they are in the final 12
Craig having a moment...looks like he is ... bricks

I wish they would put these out on dvd it would be great to watch again, and again, and again

Cruisin again, looking for Craig, Dotty? tut, tut! lol ...Yeah you're right about having all these clips together, just the bits of Craig! I wasn't organised enough as my dvd writer was broken, but I do wish I had been able to edit all the bits, involving him, onto one disc!

The moment you referred to, I'm sure he will have more like that, but they will pass! Oops, not a good turn of phrase lol

I'm very impressed with your hinting skills by the way, cos guys' brains aren't wired to pick up on hints!

We're off to the party! Pity it is raining cats and dogs and freezing cold!

Hi trixiehobbit , You have to try to meet Craig if you can. Thursday was the second time Ive seen him. We went along to the local shopping centre to see him perform when he was on Pop Idol a few years back also. Such a sweet guy . My hubby is as big a fan as my daughter and me. He was glued to the telly every sat and voting for craig was the only time he has ever voted for any one on tv!

Now I'm really green lewisH ! My bf doesn't like musicals and my son wanted Lewis to win. Typical. I also live in Devon so no chance of bumping into him. Never mind, I'm happy that he's got his break and he so deserved it

Just heard Craig sing Any Dream Will Do at the party..............................Wow!! Are you guys in for a treat!

He is still going to be here for another week but will be off to the Big Smoke a week on Monday to start rehearsals. He was extremely relaxed tonight and just having a great time, even although we were all huddled in the Marquees out of the rain. We made it through the rain!

Will get the photos on photo bucket tomorrow. All Craigettes will be able to get their new desktop picture then!
