Just checked and the dates given for Wimbledon are 15th - 27th Sep. They are on Tanith's site. Also read the stage is so small in Worthing there's no chariot, and Steph's back. Didn't know she'd been away

Hamilton had a small stage. CED was the best performance I have seen, as the stage was darker than at the Playhouse and you were drawn right in and unaware of anything other than Craig. Don't see any problem there for you ladies!

I didn't think much to him in Aspects of love in October.
I thought he was awful

It doesn't bother me at all Henry Was just quoting from someone who'd see n the show last night. The whole theatre isn't very big either, and we've got the FRONT ROW

Oh dear Won't be telling a certain someone that

I've always found him very good in everything I've seen him in, but I didn't see that, so can't comment.

Right then. some for some against! Suppose that's like most things.
It's on near me at end of April. I would go but I'd rather have my birthday treat watching Craig in Manchester. No choice really.

Just been trying to catch up with what I missed. Craig looks great in that scarf. Reminds me of the time, long ago, when I saw him in Malvern.
Thanks BB

I found DE was OK, just found the show so horrible and depressing but cannot say why as the sets were very good and so were the cast.
I think the storyline was not quite suited to a musical.
All I can say was I was looking at my watch all the way through but I know it's very popular with some and was probably just me.
I don't know what I was expecting really.
Henry, I saw Simply Red live in Plymouth, fantastic.

The theatre in Worthing sounds better and better all the time! The only problem I can see Henry is that we won't want it to end.

What better way to brighten a damp, cold day in March. The forecast down here for Easter is awful.

Yes, it doesn't seem like the weather will be kind to us

When I saw it down the road in Brighton in September it was a wonderful, hot sunny day

Hi BB. I presume they think this is only your second show! This sounds to me like you are revisiting the scene of the crime and are wanting to confess!! ”

The game was nearly over last week when my mum popped round unannounced and I was out. She offered to do the ironing and OH gave her the ironing basket

Luckily I got home in time to insist that I find ironing theraputic and have nothing better to do with my time so they didn't discover the heap of credit card statements hidden at the bottom of the basket - phew!!!

That was the second Bromley first week, then High Wycombe was third. Think Brighton holds the best memories, lovely day, lovely fish and chips, great show, then met Craig and Dean afterwards. Plus a few others who have now all left

Just think, you must be the only one not grateful when someone else offers to do the ironing

Hi Rogue,

Thank you so much for your lovely post and apologies for the delay in responding. Would have loved to have met up with you on Saturday but we won't be able to get down to Worthing until late afternoon, early evening. Really sorry.

Hope we can meet again at another venue soon.

Take care,

I loved Aspects of Love when I saw it with Michael Ball many moons ago at the Prince of Wales theatre in the West End, the music and sets were fabulous but then I saw a touring production a few years later and it just wasn't the same because it was another person's interpretation of the musical and it just didn't work which is probably why I wasn't keen to book and see the David Essex production as thought it would be along the same lines.

So sorry you weren't keen on it. As I say the West End version was much better. The novel the musical is based on is good but very short so I think it had to be padded out a bit to make it in to a 2 hour show.
