this is just a random thing but when i was watching Craig as Joseph sometimes his accent came across and i sat there and thought it reminded me of something and in an un-nasty way his accent reminded me of shrek... when Mike Myers does the voice. i like the scottish accent but that just reminded me of it. strange.

I have to admit I thought the same.
I think I even said it to the person I was next to, the first night I saw it.

Why do I have the feeling you and Mellywho do mean this in a nasty way? As both of you clearly do not like Craig, why don't you stay away from his thread. It is intended for those of us who do like him.

So sorry you weren't keen on it. As I say the West End version was much better. The novel the musical is based on is good but very short so I think it had to be padded out a bit to make it in to a 2 hour show.

Love Siouxsie xxx”

Thanks Siouxsie, I wish I had seen the WE version, also I think I would enjoy reading the book , it's sometimes hard to tranfer prose into a visual story told with limited spoken lines. Although I have been disappointed with some film versions of novels, as you say you have an idea of the characters in your head and it's often at odds with how they are portrayed. I'm not really hard to please, honest!!
BUT Good News I'm going to see His Gorgeousness again in August Yay !!! XXXX

Morning Red Lady!

I shouldn't be here... but decided to pop in to say that its a sunny day here and its now only about three days until our big adventure.

And now I've turned this into an excuse to post a little reminder of who we will be seeing and hearing - Goldenchords himself!

Quite right too Scarlet,
we don't say nasty things about any of the Joes on this thread , so we definitely don't want to hear any criticism of Craig.

Thanks for that Stashy. A cheery song for a cheery day

I like it when I hear Craig`s scottish accent. When he says thing like "And I don`t speak Egyptian very well" Makes me proud to be Scottish too

How was the play the other night, Pat?

Thanks for the hug Siouxsie. Always helps when feeling under the weather

I fully agree with you. Although Craig is my favourite one I think all the Joes are lovely talented young lads who deserve our support and encouragement. This and the other fan threads here are really positive happy places where we give that support and show the boys how much we appreciate them and the time they also give to us their fans.

I quite agree !! We are all here on this thread to encourage and support all the boys even though Craig is my favourite too. We want to help them along with their Careers. We certainly don`t want any criticism of the boys as they give so much pleasure to all the fans.

Belfast is my closest at the moment - An hour and a half away. My only problem is that its the same two weeks as my annual leave for work and my mum's 60th birthday. No definite plans for anything so can't book Joseph!

Why on earth are you going on to an appreciation thread to slag the person off? That is seriously out of order!
