I watched Show 6 last night where Craig had his "By George she's (he) got it!" moment. / I rembered that song but i didn't remember the tears. Isn't live tv wonderful ?

The life changing point for Craig was undoubtedly the key change in TITM. If you were still not choking back the tears at that point, you must have a heart of stone!

That is the moment when he got everyone's attention, especially BK's!

I was choking back tears AND had my jaw hitting the floor and staying there. Plus that was when my love for Bill Kenwright hit a rather unseemly level. Hey, he's way closer to my age than Craig is.

Does a well-meant gasp, holding breath and a smile (growing wider and wider) count as well ?

I can't even begin to tell you what I was feeling ! I was literally talking to him in my thoughts! I started off sitting on the edge of my seat, then I had to stand up with my fists clenched willing him through, saying Come on Craig you're doing it!! And then, the magic happened in front of my eyes. Just fantastic. I was sobbing and laughing and shouting 'You did it!! You did it!!' I just couldn't stop the tears, so happy and overjoyed I was that what I had suspected all along about Craig was proven, 100%, in that song. Craig is the man that feels and no song could have summed up his changeover more. I just loved JB's critique, when he gives Craig not three, but FOUR Yes's ! And his voice cracks with emotion while he's talking to him as he had just witnessed the magic that Craig can bring. He felt it. Everyone felt it. Blessed marvellous it was. I've never had such an emotional ride through a TV show like this one - and I'd bloody pay a fortune to go through that all again wooohooo!!

Sorry for the blab there Konartel - Craigs TITM was my proudest and most cherished moment and its great to relive it - yet again

The Tattoo was amazing
massed pipes and drums, mega loads of kilts on show.

we had great seats 5 rows up right were all the action was taking place, with an uninterrupted view.

took 45 minutes queuing to get in and we had a run down the mound to get the last bus to the park and ride but
I would recommend it to anyone, brilliant night out.

As for the Playhouse Henry I'll give you a chance to see if you can suss us out, then I'll give you a wave - after all I have an idea of what you look like !!

Hi everyone - just dropping by for a quick catch up. See everyone is around and enjoying some of the 'best of' from the ADWD. Just had to look at the video for TITM and after looking at all your comments, saw even more in it than I had before.

Just that raw emotion, you can almost feel the panel willing him to do well - and he did not let them down. I also thought that his tone was much more mellow and in a sense was stronger than before. Can't wait to hear him in a few weeks. *jumps up and down like an idiot (again)* What on earth are we all going to be like once we've seen him live!! I'll need to look up the dictionary for new words!!

We've been out today at a theme park and think that we may have another angle for the video.

Rollercoasters... (10 loops!! ) Water Rides... you name it - a whole new range of possibilities!! ( ) For some of theses rides you really have to be strapped in well.

And more use for the 'Recreation Trailer' - think Itslmo is in charge of that one?

That was most definitely the moment in our house - stunned silence and a feeling of nervousness - then 'yes! look at ALW, look at the studio audience, that was it! Get on with it Zoe, love BK, knew JB knew what he was doing and got the result he wanted from Craig. Pass the phone, what do you mean you can't get through! Hysterical running around. Phoning mother - vote!, phoning mother-in-law - vote! (yes I know you all want your Essex lad but don't forget how much you've gone on about Craig's lovely smile - well now you see what else there is.) Yes daughter I'll book tickets (decided now that it could only be Craig or Lee capable of a show stopping performance - and so glad to have been in agreement with Mr K.) Trying to think of another spine tingling time when had a similar reaction to a TV moment - possibly when watching Torvill and Dean dance Bolero for that Olympic Gold - feeling nervous, feeling proud, willing on someone so much - and then the result. Then later having a piece of music to always bring back those feelings. So please - if possible - include in any recording.

I can understand how you felt MrsP, This was the first time I have EVER posted votes during a TV show. The children have taken part in Fame Academy and the like, but Craig is the only person I have ever picked up the phone and voted for.

I was on the edge of my seat too, willing every note and every word to come out right. I'll be happy to go to the show and just relax and listen to him sing!!

In the vt with Craig and Bill in the rehearsal room, in the end where B. asks "Can you do it ?" The way Craig says "Yes" that gets me a little / as well ...

Glad you had a super day - and soooo inspirational! Long and Winding Rollercoaster (sorry - mean 'Road'). Whose remit was health and safety? Water rides! Just to check - would this still be in full kilt mode? By the time I'd got through all those towels don't think I'd make it back to the trailer to rustle up the hot chocolate. Sure someone would step in to help out though. (More likely to get trampled in the rush).

Boo for stupid scheduling issues. It would have been one more step in converting you and heaps of fun as well.

When I get to see Craig I will make sure and sneak lots of pictures just for you ok?


Before TITM I really liked Craig, loved his voice but wasn't entirely convinced he was a MT performer, he was/is most definitely an entertainer but I just wasn't sure how he would do in a stage performance....then TITM....I got a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes and I knew, he had it, he had gotten there, he had made me feel in a way that no one else had in that competition. Thats when the "Sold!" sign went up. Thank god BK thought so too!

Of course he will!

I have faith that at the end of the tour will just be the beginning of Craig's long and happy MT career. Sooner or later there will be an intersection of Craig and Somewhere I Can Go On Vacation.

Then there'll be a CD and all the fun involved with using a US credit card. You wouldn't believe the hassle with getting the ADWD/CED CD. Except...T's having her Josh Groban CD mailed to my house because they won't deliver to the UK, so maybe we can work a trade. Hooray for international cooperation!

If you could fit Craig himself into your handbag for a short visit, that would be cool too.

I'm quite intruiged to see what the news is ( as I suppose we all are ). One moment I think I have a good idea what it will be, but as Young Hippo says, it is good news, and it is on top of the Jospeh tour. Fingers crossed that it will be something you can be part of.

As he races into his second week of rehearsals, I think with the cast, hope he enjoys being part of the larger team and feels confident as they put the whole show together.

you must be on the right track - would make sense to tie in with performance promotions. The tour news came after the big hints (and it wouldn't be on the 'On Tour' page if it
were only wishful thinking. ) Guess we'll just have to 'watch this space' again.

I have goats nibbling wires and gremlins pulling connections out here again - must be over use - so hope I don't miss out on the excitement at the vital moment.

As for what's next, I think once you're in Mr Kenwright's camp you can't go wrong. There are a lot more shows on Broadway that have to come over here sooner rather than later - so who knows!
