I decided after seeing a terrible comment about Craig's version of This Is The Moment on Youtube, to check out the Robert Cuccioli version from Jekyll & Hyde to see what all the fuss was about. Well I could appreciate the huge production, the fantastic set and the fact that God knows how many hours of rehearsal went into this song before it reached the stage where it was filmed. I didn't detect much emotion in his performance though.

Now Craig's version was like an unplugged session, stripped to the bone and without any of the above. He had in fact been lucky enough to get the right song at the right time and due to circumstance, give a different reading altogether of this song. Unfortunately anyone seeing this clip, without knowing the journey that brought him to this point, would not appreciate just how heartrending this version was. It takes something special to create that little something that just causes the tears to well up and the heart to pound. That is what audiences will remember, that precious moment! ”

Finally seen it Henry and he didn't tug very hard at my heartstrings. Me have a feeling he's sung it quite a few times and is just going through the motions. He didn't feeeeel the words like Craig, no he didn't. Craig was pleading with people to give him a chance...RC was being paid to do a job. It was impressive but had no warmth. I like warm.

I won't be watching that one again but I would dearly love to watch Craig perform it again, nerve free He's getting more daring with his facial expressions while singing, and what a smile that bloke has. Can you imagine him on the Joseph posters ? I can - i've seen it in my head and he looked fantastic I can tell you

Pants. Can't get the podcast thing to activate properly. I've accepted feeds but can't configure with itunes or whatever need to do. I'd like to know who says what.

I'll be voting
He needs them as he's still rank outsider with Lewis.

and for those very reasons you've stated he really should be shouldn't he His face when he finishes!. Part joy, part anger, part triumph; gritting the teeth, and probably inwardly shouting "are you not entertained ?!!"

I'll be crossing fingers, arms, legs, toes (us hobbits have very talented feet) that he gets picked to stay in - and this time nice and early. Let someone else cack their pants for a change eh

Ok Trixie, forget about trying to sort out the podcast. Go for the download to the left of the podcast and it will save to whatever folder you normally download to. The file will be called "Every dream will do - vid..........". Right click on the downloaded media file and 'open with' whatever comes up. Hey Presto! Works fine for me.

Well back to the real reason for this thread. It's Showtime! Tasks this week should be interesting. Dirty jobs but I suppose somebody has got to do them! Just hope Craig learned his lesson last week and really gets stuck in this week.....lol!

It's a pity that Real Radio did their interview with Craig by phone, as a certain room mate thought it would be funny to make noises in the background to get noticed. He then ended up on the phone doing the interview! Very clever but not very smart. He needs to realise that you don't do that in this business The people you pass on the way up are the sme ones you pass on the way down!

Better go now as I have 1001 things to do today before I can finally sit down and watch the Show. [b]Good luck Craig[!/B] Don't forget to VOTE!!!!!!!!!

I so much prefer Lee when he's on stage.
I go right off him when he talks - he lurves himself rather a lot doesn't he??

Good job the contest is not personality based actually cos he might have gone a while back

No wonder he was smiling

I don't think think he is bigheaded either - I think he is channelled into his mission and he ain't stopping for anyone. He'll run them over if it means getting to the finishing line first. It's a trait I haven't got - but people like Connie have it, and they need it tbh in that industry. They have to believe they're the best for the job - and that's where our Craig fails. He's too 'nice' and he doesn't do himself any favours by doing it really. He is the best for the job imo but he's got to belieeeeeeve

What a night for Craig Brimming with confidence at last and it's paid off. He's in ! He's a little beaver isnt' he?? He takes notes all the time, he tidies up all the time, he never stops. Thats dedication for you - he must be a workaholic; which is a bonus if he'll be performing 2 hour shows. Will keep him occupied for a bit won't it

Bill says Craig has the heart <<<pats heart
John B says after the trio song "Craig stood out for me!"
Zoe says "He deserves to be there, he works so hard"
Denise says ..is he leading man material.

All good points
btw Denis knows nothing

I really liked him tonight. He reached out to the audience and felt comfortable in his own skin. His song was not right for him at all (I'd like to see him do a really dark and dramatic number next) but he did really well, considering its Michael Jackson <rolly eye smiley> Onwards and upwards McJoseph, we're right behind you

Yes! YES! YES!!!!

Craig didn't put a foot wrong tonight and DVO should have given him a £20 for the kiss. What is wrong with the Ice Maiden? Tell me if Zoe gets on your nerves, gets on your nerves, gets on your nerves!

This was possibly the worst song anyone has had and he came through a STAR.

We all know the three that thought he would go tonight. and two of them were in the sing off!!!! I love the sound of breaking glass.

Bill Kenwright is a true gentleman and he can see what is blatently obvious to the rest of us. JB is getting it now and I know that means a lot to Craig.

Craig is the one that was at the greatest disadvantage when this all started, but boy is he learning fast. If he learns 6 new hand mannerisms for next week, we will totally have forgotten the C word that Zoe keeps using!

First one safe tonight, just what he needed. This is going to make a difference with the votes next week.

The camera loves Craig and increasingly so are the viewers. We can now all have a drink and look forward to next week!

Just awesome the last 2 weeks.
Only needs to convince DVO that he is the man!
Such a nice guy, he will not trample on anyone to get there!
Every week he keeps getting better and better.
Professional in his manner, if not his background.
He is the hardest working person in this competition.

Craig you are JOSEPH!

GN almost said "Craig" when introducing the sing off. Force of habit Dearie, don't do it again!

C'mon you guys, I know you were all partying after last night, but hey it's midday!

Out working in the garden, iPod on 'shuffle' and up popped 'Blame it on the sun' - Stevie Wonder. Nice song that might suit Craig. Then up came The Walker Brothers - 'Living above your head'. I could just see him singing this at DVO!

Craig can handle the lower register in his voice with control and the world needs a new Scott Walker 'cos the old one is on a different planet from the rest of us now!

How about some more song suggestions for Craig?

Over to you Trixie, page 8 coming up!!!!!!!!!!!!!
