watched the show late last night, Craig did amazingly well with a very strange song choice - finally he is starting to act out his songs - if he managed that one please give him one that is supposed to be acted out.

Anyway Hello ! I still have lovely warm feeling today thanks to Craig yet again for giving us what we wanted - and he did it with style. I actually forgot I was listening to a Michael Jackson song and was superimpressed at the way he grabbed the song and really sold it the to audience.

He has a loong way to go in the acting department, but nevertheless he has proved what a joy he is to watch on the stage. His smile is infectious, you can see his underlying strength and determination. Viewers are moved by his 'journey' (sorry for swearing) and they're backing him at last. He's most definitely 'on the change' and the rate he is improving, he's still got time to show it to the voters.
He needs a real Man song next. Something that will show the power in his vocals and nothing "sweet."

Craig has by nature a tender, gentle expression. It's made people really like him as a person; now I want to see more - angst, fear, desire, anger, heartbreak ( I want it all don't I lol ) and he'll give it, I know he will

i thought craig's interpretation of black or white was as good as anything i have seen on any dream will do. i watched michael jackson perform it on youtube, and thought this song could be a minefield for him. however, from the moment craig began singing any doubts i had quickly evaporated. he made full use of the stage, he expressed the sentiments behind the words, and he interacted with the audience in the studio and at home. it was a thoroughly entertaining and professional performance. wonderful.

I had hope hopes the moment the show started and saw the difference in Craig's stage presentation. Confident, energetic and literally raring to go. (sack of spuds Zoe ?? I don't think so anymore)

I noticed the judges last night weren't saying he wasn't good enough to be a Joseph but were saying did he have enough experience to actually do a show.

They were saying how would he get on without them but surely any of them except Lee would be in the same position.

Are they just going to pat them on the head and let them get on with it without any more help - I don't think so !

Yet another fantastic performance from Craig. He has really turned things around for himself IMO. (Although you guys who have been fans from the start probably wouldn't say that....). His version of "Black or White" is definetly one of the performances of the series for me.

hello Innocent_fairy, i'm a latecomer to the proceedings. although i have been watching from the start. i didn't have an opinion on any of the josephs until a couple of weeks ago. craig won me over in the sing off with chris b, after they had sung the long and winding road. youtube is great tool for reprising the songs from the show. the more i watch craig's performances, the more i believe he should get the chance. imo he will be a wondrous joseph.

My favourite has been Lewis from the very beginning. I have a nasty feeling though that by this time next week Craig will be my first in line. (I mean that in the nicest possible way - I mean that Lewis will have left). "This is the Moment" completely brought Craig back onto my radar. And this week's great performance too. People must be voting for him, I so hope he gets to the final.

me too. although my support is usually the kiss off death imo lewis was excellent in the sing off. i don't see him leaving next week. it will be ben, the curse of the coat strikes again. lee is the favourite to win, but for me craig is joseph. regardless of the outcome craig has been a revelation on any dream will do. his dedication, work ethos, and professionalism has won him many admirers. fingers x he is the winner and becomes a star..

I think Lewis and Ben will be in the sing off next week. But the way Ben's progressing, who knows what ALW will do

Hi Trixie, you may have got your wish. This week he has got a topper! Plenty scope for a one on one with a woman and show some of the emotions you mention. Might even get the Ice Maiden on board! Two words first word 3 syllables, second word 1 syllable. You are on your own and I will not comment on any answers.

This one must be acted out without making it Karaoke. He did it with black and white, so should be very comfortable with this one. If he sells us the song as his own, instead of letting us make a comparison with the original, he will have done his job yet again. I just know he is going to be great this week. By the way, I agree, they should take him back to see the Les Mis guys. He soaks up advice like a sponge.

All this stuff about his lack of acting chops or not being ready to play a leading man is a bit strange. Four previous Josephs, none famous for their previous acting ability before geting the part, oh sorry, I forgot about Jason Donovan. Emm, no that's still four! The winner will not be opening in this show the followng week, four months is a long time when you are working your backside off 7 days a week to get ready. They will surely have all sorts of tutors and people giving them good advice, and any bad habits will have been drummed out of them and forgotten! I have every confidence in Craig being able to cope with this role.

I have been wondering why this competition has not been getting great press coverage. If this was BB it would only need a housemate to cough and it would be front page!

We're talking about something here that actually has an end product, yet they would rather print stories about a bunch of no talents who think that being outrageous should bring them fame! Maybe this is a good thing though, these guys don't need any more pressure!

I'm pleased that Craigs defeated Zoe's negative attitude over his style and is confident in himself now. Last week; being voted in by the gbp, made more difference to Craig than anything Zoe could say. He had been accepted - and that was the green light he needed. Go go McJoseph!

Hi Trixie, Slow / Fast? it has been done both ways. The live version is fast but the studio version is much slower, more laid back. It is a 70's number and huge, huge, huge!!!!

Hiya Duchess Ooer I think Ben will make the final now Daniel has gone. Lewis and Keith don't have the life experience and even though Ben hasn't, he's the best at pretending.

This Saturday is THE crucial week. If I was Lee I would be worried at the gbp's votes so far. All the seasoned musical theatre backgrounders have gone, bar him. Could be one of two reasons. He's either so good-looking and great that people see no other contestant in with a hope of beating him and he's 100% safe - or the voters are indeed younger and are ready for this new 2007 style young and poppy Joseph that ALW has visions of. If its the latter, he shouldn't get too comfy in his seat.

I'm just voting for the man who Should be Joseph based on his appeal for that role - and Craig tops my list by rather a long way

This may be a wind up, but I have heard that someone has been given a song that will forever be associated with bit of TV comedy genius. I can't stop smiling to myself! Just pay attention on Saturday and please, NO guesses, just savour the moment if it happens!
