Right now an album of songs with "rain" in the title would be appropriate

I have a soft spot for "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head"

Think it's more like Islands in the stream here at the moment Wouldn't mind but when you're stuck in the house you feel like you should be doing housework......

Hope Craig has a good time with family and friends despite the weather

And that Rosehill has a good time at the show too

"Might as well Rain until September" (Carole King)
"I Love a Rainy Night" (Eddie Rabbit)
"Rainy Days and Mondays" (The Carpenters)
"Rain Your Love Down" (Stevie Wonder)
"November Rain" (Guns 'n' Roses)
"Rainy Night in Georgia" (Brook Benton)
"Fire and Rain" (James Taylor)
"Stormy Weather" Billie Holiday
"Crying in the Rain"(The Everly Brothers)
"Don't Rain on My Parade" (Barbara Streisand)
"In the Early Morning Rain" (Gordon Lightfoot)
"Laughter in the Rain" (Neil Sedaka)
"Riders on the Storm" (Doors)
"Why Does it Always Rain on Me?" (Travis)
"Who's Gonna Stop the Rain?" (Anastacia)
"Who'll Stop the Rain?" (Creedence Clearwater Revival)
"Walk Between the Raindrops" (Donald Fagen)

Well, there ain't no shortage of Rain Songs!!!
There are lots more, but these are the most suitable that I could find.

Hi Macca Fantastic that you're seeing the show again in January - something really nice to look forward to after the chaos of Christmas! I'm going on the 10th .... weather permitting!

Ooh never thought about the weather

I would normally be at Septic Park that day watching the mighty Dundee U.

However, it costs £50 for us both to get in, there is nowhere to park, you are gobbed on by the great unwashed and then kept in at the end by Strathclyde's finest, traffic going home is a nightmare so I am going to see Joseph instead

Hi Alpha,

Went to a wedding reception on Saturday night where the entertainer did an appalling version of Tom Jones and Cerys Matthews duet.... on his own Then he moaned about not getting through the X Factor auditions and informed everyone he hated the Welsh! Best night I've had for ages

Sounds like a right laugh , Chalmed .
I had a relaxing weekend chilling out - children were out most of the time so I could read , watch TV etc without interruption

did anyone see Craigs profile on facebook an hour or so ago? it said "Craig Chalmers is just about to run back on stage in his bl##dy loincloth"

doesn't he realise the pleasure he gives
AlphaK

That's OK Chalmed - I often post and then get side-tracked
I'm sure Craig would've enjoyed any time he could spend at home no matter how short

Of course if it was a Ted Baker loincloth or maybe Diesel or even Armani... he might feel differently about it! Perhaps we should commission a designer version as the next Craigette present.......

Several of the reviewers recently have commented on it ...... maybe he's peeved that the loincloth is receiving such attention

Ah but that loincloth would be nothing without the hanger it has been placed on..... would it get such good reviews if it was hung on say.... Henry (Jacob)!!!! I don't think so! That loincloth needs Craig .... but Craig doesn't need the loincloth .... so who's wearing who?!
Chalmed

God what a load of B******s I've just posted! What I was trying to say is that the loincloth is nothing without Craig but Craig is still a fantastic performer whether he's in a loin cloth or not... so the loin cloth is, in a way, irrelevant...

No, that's not what I'm trying to say either.... Rats ... I give up......
