How can you NOT?! They are so horrible and plasticky - and fake teeth like that do affect people's performances, because they can't enunciate properly (two examples are Julie Andrews and Margaret Thatcher, they both sounded like they were spitting after having had their teeth 'done' - their voices were never quite the same again). As I said in another thread, I think Chris's dad has ruined his career, by giving him these teeth (when he speaks, he sounds like he wants some f-f-f-fava beans, lol!).

Both Lewis and Craig make my skin crawl ....

And Ben is rubbish, i'm afraid. As much as i disliked Seamus, he didn't deserve to go.

They weren't as noticable this week though. And I don't see them affecting his performance? lol He is good....fake teeth or not

Don't dislike any of them really. Most of them are very talented. wish i could sing as well as some of them.

Craig and Ben are possibly the weakest. Although Ben has achieved some greatness (i.e in the singoffs!), he just isn't consistent enough. Craig is just painfully average.

Rob, Rob, Rob. After his absurd interpretation of Piano Man as a happy, cheerful song you should grin your way through, he'll never win me back. He might be okay singing in a lounge somewhere, but he can't act at all, and he's not Joseph.

Don't dislike any of them, but have only really warmed to (inevitably) Lee, Daniel, Keith to some extent and surprisingly Lewis, who despite looking like an advert for Barbie dolls seems a consistent performer with his head screwed on right.

Rob, Craig, Chris and Ben leave me underwhelmed, but I don't actively dislike them, just feel that they've gone as far as they're going to. I was prepared to give Chris the benefit of the doubt, but his neediness really worried me on Saturday.

Seems I like the ones I can relax with and enjoy the performances without worrying about them going all strange on me. I liked Seamus for that reason as well, although he never blew me out of the water.

Writing this I realise I'm wrong. I didn't like Anthony much, because he seemed far keener on people asking for his autorgraph than doing much actual work. Then again, he's 17 or 18 or whatever, so he has some excuse.

Although they are both very good performers, I'm not overly keen on Lee and Daniel's attitudes, perhaps Lee's more so than Daniel's (although even I have to admit they were not a patch on Seamus).

However, I would pay money to see them, the only person I'd feel really ripped off with if they won would be Ben, and maybe Craig, although I might like him more if he got a song I actually like. I'm not overly keen on his voice, but I've heard worse.

Edit: So in answer to the original question: No

I think Daniel is a good singer but I don't like his hair. Something about it is very off putting to me - has nobody else noticed it?

Maybe that's because he's so bland.

I have to admit I'm finding it difficult to form an opinion about him one way or the other. I veer from thinking he's OK to not quite being able to remember what he sang that week a couple of days after the show.

I don't dislike him but I wouldn't pick the phone up for him, let alone buy theatre and train tickets.

Wow. If you think he's bland, I would LOVE to meet your idea of a charismatic man. I know of plenty of people who have already spent hundreds of pounds on tickets in the hope Lee wins. All of those tickets are going back on eBay if he doesn't and they certainly won't be repeat viewing as they are currently planning on doing.

I'm don't really dislike any of the remaining Josephs - couldn't stand Seamus (it was a love hate thing ) and I thought Anthony was a bit akward looking on stage. I'm a bit meh about Rob, not because of his singing, but because of his insane grinning! It really freaks me out, how can he be grinny grinny all the time?! Singing wise I don't rate Ben at all, and I'm surprised by how much I like Lewis - he's definately one of my favourites

That's really rather sad.

Why? They're simply expressing a preference to see one particular performer. I see nothing unusual in that. If you're not a particular fan of a show then it's understandable. I doubt you'd get me going to see a show like 'We Will Rock You' or 'Tonight's The Night' unless a perfomer I liked was in it. They're just not my cup of tea. Doesn't make me, or the ones doing this with Joseph, sad or evil in any way.

Isn't it, though? I like talent programmes, but I wouldn't go and see the actual Joseph show if you paid me, it sounds like total cack! I really only like watching the auditioning and training part. (Having said that, my mum talked me into taking her to see SoM - what a disappointment that was!)

Agree 100%, why does everyone rave about Lee? If staring at fit girls is acting then i'm a bloody brilliant actor and have been doing it alot longer than him.
Oh! and while i'm at it hes does this thing with his S's, hard to explain but it's a bit Elvis like. Apologies if it's a speech impediment but it's irritating!

Dislike is too strong a word but Rob really gives me the creeps, big time. I also can not warm to Lewis at all

Not everyone raves about Lee. I certainly don't and I don't know anyone in the "real world", away from this board and a couple of other sites, who does.

It is a speech impediment but there's no need to apologise for noticing it or mentioning it. My brother has a problem pronouncing S too and it doesn't bother him in the slightest if people notice or mention it.

It's a shame because it does grate after a while during Lee's singing. It's not so bad during a 90 second performance I suppose but it would probably get quite tiresome over 90 minutes or more.

Still, at least it's something memorable about him I have to agree with you about his supposed great acting when all he is doing is ogling, and with Give It Up about the blandness and quick forgetability.

Lee seemed a stand-out at his first audition and was good through "Joseph School" but since then he has shown himself to be nothing less but little more than just OK.

Chris.

He's just wrong.

Last week in the tie he looked like he'd got up to sing & dance at an office party (Did you see Chris from accounts last night??!!)

Rob seems like a nice guy, but he's no Joseph. Although they kept going on about Seamus' age, I think he would have looked OK, while Rob does look to old ( I know he isn't really, but he looks it).

Lewis - I don't like the way he moves. It reminds me a bit of Cliff Richard.

Well i wouldnt mind running my hands through it , ahem but i digress

I must admit that i only really sit up and watch when Daniel(of course ) and Lee sing.

I'm sorry but Rob's insane grinning is beginning to grate one me, Lewis is just too Ken, Chris "pass me a tissue cos i'm about to burst into tears" nuff said.

Craig and Ben leave me feeling meh and Keith, i just cant see him as Joseph, but he'd be great as little Benjy

So all in all for me its a 2 horse race with one thoroughbred just a nose in front of the other

Craig. I don't get it. He has no charisma and a bland voice.

Sorry but I dont like Lee hes bland, couldnt sit though a 2 hour performance and the lisp is really irratating he should be a lot better considering all the experience, I think hes as good as hes going to get wheras some of the younger less inexperienced ones Chris, Lewis, Keith (although I dont think keiths right for Joseph) are only going to get better Id like to see them have a chance.
