Ok so rock legends Metallica are playing, as are Beck and The Streets....but should Blur be the headline act????

I know it's early days but I'm not impressed with the line-up.
And Glaso has sold out

Seems that Leeds is going to be the bigger event this year. Isn't it usually the other way round?

I was going to be going to Reading this year but the disappointing line-up has put me off. I think I'll save my £95 for next year

Reading is never that impressive
However, Blur have made 7 albums and sold 25,000,000 copies of the different records... So yes, they should headline.

They have more right than Travis at Glasto last year. That made me sick. Especially when you look at Radiohead and REM this year !!!

The step from REM and Radiohead to Travis, is like having a local 15 year old's band headlining compared to Travis.

I loved early Blur.......up until Parklife and I've seen them loads of times. Coxon, despite his problems always came across as sweet and funny. And I did like his solo stuff.

But he's gone now, and I haven't heard the new, ahem... "Coxless" Blur album, other than Graham himself saying it wasn't very good (but he would I suppose!!).

Maybe the new album will change things. But I just feel there are more worthy bands that could headline Reading. but as I say......I'll wait until I hear the new stuff and what impact is makes on the music scene.
