Doesn't mean you have to get an all-in-one integrated unit. I know that Vogels, and probably other bracket manufacturers make wall brackets which include the option for a plinth which you can stand a traditional set-top box/DVD/VCR etc on, underneath the screen itself.
I've been looking for and LCD with freeview for a while but they seem to be about a £150 more expensive.
I have enough wires and don't want another box, it does seem odd that more TV's don't come with freeview as standard given the change over coming in the next few years.
Maybe they think when the change happens then they can sell you another TV with built in freeview in a year or two.
I've been spending the last two weeks looking for a Freeview LCD for my bedroom and of the 100+ LCDs I've come across, only about 10 have got Freeview built-in.
I think all the Freeview LCDs I've found have been £200 or more.
As Freeview LCDs are so expensive, you would've thought more shops would be selling them - to make more money.
I wasn't saying that lots of shops are selling them - I was saying that only a few shops sell them (on the high street) and I would've thought more would.
There's a lot of Freeview LCDs on the Internet that you can't get on the high street.
