My thoughts exactly.
They have hardy had a bad word to say about Lee and Daniel, despite Lee's countless bum notes last week and the Daniel VT that was so heavily picked up on by supporters of other contestants. Last week, the judges were all over Daniel - John and Denise even picked him as their "Joseph" - then this week the same two judges rip into him for all sorts of reasons that made no sense when taken in context with their comments over the previous weeks and that were more obviously made up than Denise's face.
The first thing I thought when they criticised Daniel for being too nice and not showing enough meanness or arrogance, and showing all the clips of him saying "Thank you" (Oh, my God! A man with manners. What a turn-off

) was that they were trying to redress the balance of the impression of Daniel that had been created by the VT a couple of weeks ago showing him being as audacious and inconsiderate as to speak his mind

Zoe was harsh but Lee was dire. Weak vocals and unconvincing performance of a rock number. He was just as awkward during 'Dead Ringer for Love'. These rock numbers showed that Lee is the "nice boy" in the pack.

I agree. Keith's vocals were very good, note for note, but he may as well have been singing the menu from the local Chinese for all the feeling he put into it.
Daniel or Lee, and maybe even Lewis who is increasingly impressing me, would have nailed that performance.
