Shortland Street is to increase from 3 days to 4 days a week from 1st May.

Great news daz, one of the best soaps on tv imo.
in my itv 1 region meridian they spoilt it.
we had it 5 days a week for 7 or 8 years then when we were getting quality episodes bang off air for a year then onto region shorty ie everyone has the same.
anyone else agree we should see re runs of shortland street on digital channels ?
i have been really enjoying sons and daughters on 5 over the last 15 months now all we need is prisoner cell block h back. classic brookie back. and shortland street re runs.
lucky my rare dvd collection contains many rare aussie soap dvds to keep me going for the short term.

I would love one of the digital channels to show classic episodes or any episodes for that matter. I am lucky enough to have watched it in the Central region the only region to screen all episodes upto the current new ones but because the other regions mucked it about so much the producers with Carlton decided to move everyone up to where Central viewers were.
Sorry about the double posting,.I don't know why they had to change SS from 5days to three,it isn't like they put anything worth watching in its place.I too like Sons & Daughters, but have not seen it for years,can't find any listings for it ,this way on.
hi seymour sons and daughters on channel 5 early hours of saturday and sunday morning in double bills 5am-6 you could record it. there has been 240 or so episodes but 600 to go
